People have been asking about my #CovidVaccine experience at @HaltonHlthcare, so here’s a belated thread.💉🧵Although there were a lot of steps I found it to be pretty straightforward. On Jan 4 I received an email from the hospital offering me the #CovidVaccine, as I will be...
working in the pandemic response unit at @Jo_Brant. I responded right away & that afternoon got a call confirming availability for the next day. Next morning I got a call to set up a time & to give directions on where to park & to the clinic. I got to the Oakville Hospital in...
the evening after work. There was a line to check in with someone confirming name/employment. Then there was a 2nd line to speak to someone to screen for #COVID19 symptoms. Then there was a 3rd line to give informed consent & make sure I understood the details of vaccination...
After that, there was a 4th line to wait for someone to give the actual vaccine. Even though there were a lot of "lines", it actually went by really fast. I was going to “live tweet” my experience but I actually couldn’t because it went so fast.😆 I think everyone there was a...

on supply - I got the @pfizer💉). I felt completely fine that day. Next morning my arm was a little bit achy at the injection site. That lasted for the day after & went away. I did not have any other side effects at all. The next day I even went to pick up our new rescue dog.🐶
Very grateful that I was able to get the #CovidVaccine & hope all those who are high-risk/frontline to be able to get it ASAP also! #Covid19Ontario
