Thread. My life in pictures. Four years of this. Over. Thank the Goddess. Marching for immigrant rights after the hateful Muslim ban, marching for freedom of the press. Marching against the hateful T***p regime. 2017 was an activism year that didn’t stop. 1/
Every January, a Women’s March. Not this year! 2/
Marched to see his taxes. Marched against his 1.5 trillion dollar tax scam, rammed through by #MoscowMitch in the middle of the night. 3/
Marched to protect Mueller (oy), for truth, for impeachment, , for science, against a wag-the-dog war that was always a threat. 4/
Definitely, I wanted to see him impeached and convicted. The first time. And then, there was second time. 5/
Like so many others, I joined protests against the concentration camps at the border set up by #SatansSnotRag Stephen Miller- can’t believe they remain open. Helped at #WeThePeopleMarch in DC, September 2019. We marched down Pennsylvania Avenue urging Congress to do its job. 6/
Marched against anti-semitism, and authoritarian rule. So many protests, I am sure I’m missing some. I remember marching for #DREAMers. 7/
After #Parkland, participated in #MarchForOurLives. In August, 2108, I joined a protest against rapey beery Kavanaugh. I stopped protesting during #BLM, because of the pandemic, being in a high risk group. But, my heart is with every demonstrator for justice. It is ENOUGH now! 8/
I am taking my stencil back to the art studio, re-purposing my creative energy into artistic pursuits. More art-making going forward. Hopefully, less tweeting. Will be lovely to clear my head from four years of a toxic corrupt monster. Let the muse come through! #Heartfelt 9/End

“A battered nation haunted by sickness, death and division is heading into an epic week in which constitutional principles will triumph over lies and insurrection with the transfer of power from one president to the next.”
“President-elect Joe Biden's shouldering of the presidency on Wednesday will end twice-impeached Donald Trump's four-year assault on truth and tranquility and an administration awash in corruption that tested US democracy to the limit.”
“After four years in which Trump tore at America's racial wounds as a tool of power, there will, however, be a sense of history as CA Sen. Kamala Harris becomes the first female, Black & South Asian vice president sworn into office by Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.”
“Retweeting others, for example, will require an extra step designed to encourage users to add their own thoughts before posting. Recommendations and trends will get new curbs intended to prevent abuse.” washingtonpost.com/technology/202…
#RuthBaderGinsburg the first Jewish person to lie in state in the Capitol Rotunda. She died at the start of the Jewish New Year. According to Jewish tradition, a person who dies on Rosh Hashanah, is a tzaddik, a person of great righteousness.
May her memory be a blessing.
The casket is led by a procession with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer at the head.
.@JoeBiden is speaking now in Philadelphia to those Senate Republicans who know what the right thing to do is about appointing a Supreme Court justice. Biden says Trump is trying to strip away healthcare with the ACA case before SCOTUS. People are choosing their future right now.
“If I win the election, I should be the one who names a replacement for Justice Ginsburg!” “Healthcare in our country hangs in the balance” in a pandemic where 6 million people who have #coronavirus will all have pre-existing conditions.
Biden is asking a few Republicans to follow their conscience (he still believes a few Republican senators have a conscience?) “Let the people speak.” “We can’t continue to live with scrambled norms.” Biden says the final wish of Ruth Bader Ginsburg should be honored by the Senate

U.S. Covid-19 death toll surpasses 200,000
A prediction made in March — unfathomable at the time — has come to pass. Dr. Birx made it. What happened to the lady of the scarves? New predictions are for 415,000 dead by January. Because Trump. nbcnews.com/health/health-…
Dr. E. Wesley Ely, a professor of medicine and critical care at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, called the 200,000 deaths a "benchmark of sadness."
"This is 200,000 people who didn't think they were going to die this year," Ely said.
“Covid-19 has killed people of all ages, all races and all political affiliations. They include a veteran emergency medical technician with the New York Fire Department. A pastor in Texas. A nurse in South Carolina. Children who have succumbed to a rare inflammatory complication”
