Rubin is right. The Demokkkrats and their media operatives are 100% freaking out over Kanye West & Candace Owens being 'woke' because that means the end of the gravy train for them. That's why DNC is now betting everything on illegal alien #DREAMERS 🙄
And, I feel for @REALStaceyDash , one of the first black women in Hollywood to openly walk off the Democrat Plantation. She's been called every racist name in the book by "tolerant" Leftists. She's been blacklisted & boycotted. Kanye's not the brave one, SHE is. @ScottAdamsSays
The chickens are coming home to roost for the #CorruptDNC 😃They deliberately abandoned middle-America (white working class) in favor of pandering to every fringe&minority group they could create via #IdentityPolitics. That worked for a bit.But not after the disastrous Obama years
If they don't care about the votes it further confirms for me that if #HRC won, the plan would have been to eventually flood the country with immigration and destroy the #USA like the #UK.
(Follow me now)....
We would lose the 2A then the 1A.
We the People would no longer exist. Disarm the people then you can do anything you want to them. Control is the name of the GAME and DATA feeds control. Once we lose America we have an easy shift to a global government under the guise of ultimate freedom of the earth. New tech!
2) Despite their being in #Mexico without authorization, no one has made any effort to stop them. Organized by "a group of volunteers called Pueblos Sin Fronteras" (People Without Borders). Yeah right. #Fake and #staged.
3) They're calling it a caravan, intended to help migrants safely reach the United States, bypassing not only authorities who would seek to deport them, but #gangs and #cartels who are known to assault vulnerable migrants. This is the lie being fed. What's the #truth?
People in power define social identities as they have the means to control the narrative – news coverage, platforms to broadcast their platforms, & the power to influence law enforcement and legislation. Social identity affects how people perceive themselves and others. 3
This afternoon the Senate is turning to DACA and immigration, beginning with a “motion to proceed” vote. The burden is on Republicans to fix the mess that Donald Trump made on #DACA, as a majority of Americans want them to. [Thread]
Remember, we got here because Donald Trump ended the DACA program back in Sept. And 20,000 DACA recipients have already lost their protections as a result. He then rejected a bipartisan agreement reached by @SenatorDurbin and @LindseyGrahamSC, because it wasn’t racist enough.
So here we are — in an open debate on immigration with a Republican-controlled Congress. If you care about immigrants and #Dreamers, you should be worried. And while we all want relief for Dreamers, we can’t and won’t take just any deal.
#CHAINMIGRATION Approaching the age of eligibility 4 conscription 2 military service in Imperial German Army, Friedrich Trump quickly decided to emigrate to the United States.
In 1885, at age 16, Trump emigrated via Germany, to the U.S.
#UNEMPLOYED #Immigration records list his name as "Friedr. Trumpf" and his occupation as "none". He moved in with his older sister Katharina – who had emigrated in 1883:31 – and her husband Fred Schuster, also from Kallstadt.
As a City Councilmember in Philly, I’ve been thinking a lot about tonight’s #SOTU. Here’s what I wish I would see in 45’s address tonight (although I’m not holding my breath). @LocalProgress /1
1st Economic Justice: Philly is the poorest large city in the US and PA’s $7.25 minimum wage is the lowest in the region. We have over 100K hourly workers in the city alone. /2
Our City Council instituted a 21st Century living wage, passed pay equity/anti-wage theft laws, and we’re holding hearings on #FairWorkweekPHL to address unpredictable hours and help workers and families. /3
1} A long, quiet applause from the empty suits in an empty room. Trump's meds are working so far. Republican's are spread into a relatively empty chamber audience of very, very, very, very almost exclusively WHITE people! Ugh!
With so many calls to contact your reps on so many issues these days, it’s easy to be overwhelmed.
Here is a short primer on how to best contact them, and the most effective ways to go about doing that.
👉Calling your reps is best.
There are many ways to contact reps. Mail, email, social media and online petitions are supplementary, but staffers agree that calling is the best way to get attention. Other methods are often ignored, but calls must be answered.
👉Contact only your reps.
It can be tempting to contact reps who are not yours, especially leadership, but reps are only accountable to their own constituents. Those are the people who vote for them.
When are Democrats going to understand that we didn’t lose the Oval in 2016 because we didn’t have the *middle class* on our side?
We lost because of voter suppression, foreign interference, sexism, racism, media bias. Not because we didn’t pander to ¡white! concerns enough.
A Must Read: “Here is the troubling reality for civically minded liberals looking to justify their preferred strategies: Hillary Clinton talked about the working class, middle-class jobs, and the dignity of work constantly. And she still lost.” theatlantic.com/business/archi…
Let’s be clear here: when we turn the discussion away from #DACA and to the *middle class*, we are turning our backs on people of color and deeming their issues as lesser.
Just watched @TuckerCarlson talking to a #DACA girl and now I am really mad! She kept repeating over and over that it is Donald Trump’s fault for rescinding #DACA and talking over @TuckerCarlson rudely and defiantly. News flash #DACA girl ! In my opinion, it’s Obama‘s fault.
is the one who created DACA as an Executive Order as a TEMPORARY fix with its expiration date, creatively set to expire AFTER his final term ended . So blame Obama as he’s the one who created this problem!
Additionally, your parents came here ILLEGALLY and dragged you along with them , and we have no obligation to pay for your family ! I think #DACADreamers have been treated very well .
In light of what's going on with #Dreamers, it's time to talk about Japanese internment.
Because the #DACA showdown is Japanese internment 2.0.
Japanese immigrants in the 19th & early 20th centuries came to the US in large part for manual farm labor in California.
Japan had much more advanced horticulture than the US at that time, so these immigrants weren't just bringing brute labor. They were bringing a lot of basic how-to's of commercial farming that built the foundation for California's success as an agricultural powerhouse today.
All votes are in, and the Senate Continuing Resolution cloture vote has failed. This means that the government is not funded and the #TrumpShutdown is officially in effect.
Republicans let CHIP expire to pass the #GOPTaxScam. Trump ended DACA. The GOP caused the #TrumpShutdown and refused to put a bill that could pass to a vote. They can only fix it by cleaning up their mess— which has already upended millions of lives.
This isn’t easy, but it is NOT. OVER. Nearly 9 million children, over 800,000 Dreamers, and all of their loved ones are counting on YOU to fight back. #DreamActNow#FundCHIP
I get it. We must try to avoid a government shut down. But hear me out — what happens this week will reflect who we are as a country. So if the Republican budget plan does not include funding for these fundamental issues then you must... #ShutItDown.
Take care of our kids! If the Republican budget fails 9 million children by not funding their healthcare through #CHIP then you must... #ShutItDown.
“Any society which does not care for its children is no nation at all.” -Nelson Mandela
More than a third of recipients (37%) reported difficulties paying DACA’s application fees ($465 total). Respondents who are currently financially insecure (measured by whether they were unable to pay bills at some point in the last year) #Dreamersescholarship.org/uc/item/6b56v2…
"In total, we surveyed 502 young adults, including 452 DACA recipients, and 50 undocumented youth who had not received DACA. Our survey took place two years after DACA’s initiation, with the goal of exploring the longer-term impacts of the program." migrationcluster.ucdavis.edu/sites/g/files/…

Now it is up to all of us in Congress to come up with a proposal that gets the job done.
The American people overwhelmingly want better border security, a more modern immigration system, and to allow the #Dreamers a new and better life. All we have to do is listen to the American people and enact their wishes.
