.@SecPompeo's latest accusation of China committing #genocide in #Xinjiang is another lie to box in #Biden and boost his own fortune in future elections. As the U.S.'s chief diplomat, he has no consideration for the well-being of the country's foreign policy.
From #COVID19 to #genocide, @SecPompeo has spewed unfounded, unsupported and unconscionable lies about #China throughout his tenure as the U.S.'s representative to the world. His allegiance to right-wing ideology and scant regard for truth has damaged the U.S.'s credibility.
If the U.S. really believes genocide is taking place, it is morally obliged to present evidence to the International Court of Justice. Instead, @SecPompeo made the announcement during the final hours of his tenure, leaving no time to present evidence or allow counterarguments.
His series of policy changes during his last days at the State Department are politically convenient media statements that are designed not for morality’s sake or his country's well-being, but to cause chaos in U.S. foreign policy and keep his own name relevant in the discourse.
#China's January 20 #sanctions against @mikepompeo and 27 other Americans send a message to every politician in the world: Don't use China for political gain, personal or otherwise, and expect impunity. #CGTNFirstVoicebit.ly/39OFLiR
#China-U.S. relationship defines the parameter of 21st century international relationships. But the sanctioned individuals have used their offices to advance their own political and financial interests at the expense of the wellbeing of U.S. foreign policy and public interests.
.@washingtonpost columnist Dana Milbank described the vocation of @AmbJohnBolton, a target of the sanctions: "He makes war." His allegiance to ideological purity trumps all. @mikepompeo, on the other hand, smears #China to keep his name relevant as he eyes higher offices.
.@JoeBiden wants to make America "the leader for good in the world." It's going to be a tall order as divisive policies have shaken the nation's foundations. #CapitolRiot epitomized America's fragility at a time of extreme polarization. #CGTNFirstVoice#Inauguration2021
Despite being considered as leaving in disgrace, #DonaldTrump is still popular in his party. A post #CapitolRiot poll shows Trump still retains 87% of Republicans' approval with 43% support among voters overall post-second-#Impeachment. #Inauguration2021
Degradation of facts and truths has led to more than 400,000 #COVID19 deaths in #America. Conspiracies, promoted by extreme factions in society as well as elements in the Trump administration and sometimes even Trump himself, poisoned public opinion. #Inauguration2021
