@ntvuganda MATHIAS MPUUGA: Our NUP team officially went to the EC to request for official results for Presidential elections as declared. They do not have them! What they declared is a huge contradiction to what people voted & declared at the polling stations.
@ntvuganda SSEMUJJU: The problem I have with civil society, clergy & media, is to detach yourself from what is happening in Uganda. You quiz us (opposition) as if Uganda is our parent's estate.. that we have a singular duty to make it better, as you watch on the sidelines.
@ntvuganda EVELYN ANITE: The crowds were organized by excited & enthusiastic supporters, not by President Museveni, not by the secretariat, not by the official body of the NRM. People just got excited & got on the road. When you are happy you are happy.
@ntvuganda SSEMUJJU: I have looked at the age of MPs who were successful, & it will take a pretender not to accept that things are changing. In fact even if an election is stolen like this one was, there are areas that make me happy. The way Buganda voted gives me comfort.
@ntvuganda SSEMUJJU: I kept asking myself why Museveni's brother (Saleh) had camped & refused to leave Gulu? We have always won those areas....So when the probing ends of every single thing that happened in each part of Uganda, it will be a different story.
@ntvuganda ANITE: It is lack of appreciation in Central Uganda. Either they feel satisfied, then reject my candidate, or it's an issue of sectarianism, which I think in this case is. The reason North voted for Museveni is they finally appreciated the NRM agenda
@ntvuganda ANITE: President Museveni fought hard, restored peace in northern Uganda. We had issues of infrastructure, were not connected to national grid, no good roads, no good schools. Initially NRM did not get votes but Govt continued to fix the problems of the people.
@ntvuganda ANITE: If you ask the North why did you vote for Museveni? It is for roads, peace, electricity, hospitals, education, for job creation. Our manifesto is clear on industrialization & number of industrial parks and jobs we will create in the area.
@ntvuganda ANITE: Mr Mpuuga, in your mecca Arua I swept you, defeated you. Even in Koboko I gave you a bloody nose, President Museveni got 72%. My people did not reject me. It is you who robbed me of my victory, and I showed you touch by winning for my president.
@ntvuganda MATHIAS MPUUGA: I invite Anite to explain to the people of Uganda why Busoga did not vote for NRM. For you to imagine that Buganda is over developed means you have a very low level of ambition. You want to say with Busoga voting 75% NUP it is over developed? #NTVOnTheSpot

@TioKauma@ntvuganda@HonAniteEvelyn MPUUGA: Buganda has moved first to the clarion call we have been making. It is not the first time Buganda is moving before other regions. It moved first by working with Museveni and opposed Obote. Buganda moved first to fight for Uganda's independence.
@TioKauma@ntvuganda@HonAniteEvelyn MPUUGA: For years we have seen the results from western Uganda. I suppose that is democracy not sectarianism. The highest level of sectarianism is nepotism. Should we discuss nepotism as part of sectarianism, whose incubation centre Anite very well knows.
@TioKauma@ntvuganda@HonAniteEvelyn SSEMUJJU: If you appreciate that Kampala is cosmopolitan, you cannot accuse it then of being sectarian..... That all the tribes of Uganda that are here, when it came to voting against Museveni, they became Baganda!
The Americans likely have the results already- all of them. The ones compiled by NUP, those of NRM, and even Byabyakama's π . Only problem is they also have strategic interests here and in the region.
So, they will use what they know to the best of their strategic interests!
@DamalieOwori@OWC_ug GEN SALIM SALEH: President Museveni recently told me that whoever wants to discuss Uganda's economy, should first look at factors of production in 1900, in 1962, 1986 and how they are in 2020. Where do we want them to be?
That would be the best govt actually, with some checks. This usually happens in the US with voters ensuring president does not have both House & Senate. But also, cabinet members in opposition will also want development. The president of Uganda is so powerful - let me illustrate
How can you fail to push your agenda after appointing 31 Cabinet ministers, 49 Ministers of State, over 130 RDCs, over 130 Gisos, The Police Chief, Army Chief, Prisons chief, UNRA, URA bosses, have classified budget in trillions.... You would just be a poor leader. #JustThinking
And with 'individual merit' being more entrenched than political party loyalty across the country, you can imagine how many will cross to your party to be able to sit on the high table.
Over 50% of people contesting in most elections next week are INDEPENDENTS!
Since Trump cannot tweet or post on facebook, he has issued a statement.

TRUMP: Even though I totally disagree with the outcome of the election, and the facts bear me out, nevertheless there will be an orderly transition on January 20th. 2/4 #TrumpStatement
TRUMP: I have always said we would continue our fight to ensure that only legal votes were counted.
