A-Summary report in the death was filed 5 years after the custodial death in 1990. From 1996 -2011 I am not part of any this. I had no role to play in any delay: Kapil Sibal.
Sibal says it is a case of complete mistrial because my 23 witnesses have not been examined.
Sibal referring to earlier Supreme Crt order directing completion of trial by June 20 which would result in trial without hearing Bhat.
That order was passed without hearing me: Sibal
Review against that order is pending, says Sibal.
Court says let that review be decided and then the Bench will hear the present petition.
Sibal agrees. Matter adjourned for a decision to be taken on review against an order expediting trial.
