Ad creative is hands down the most important factor to achieving long term success with FB ads.

Especially in 2021.

Here's my approach......

** FB Creatives 2021 Thread **
Most people suck at coming up with new ad creatives.

The reason?

They're lazy.

And don't want to:

1) Come up with new/original ideas
2) Have content created/edited
3) Setup ads to test them

But that's how you find your big winners.
So, when I start I like to think about how I can portray the product in an unconventional way.

Something that's bizarre.

Yes, bizarre.

Not gory, not disgusting, not overwhelming.

Bizarre.
Remember though, I'm only running ads for things where I have full control over the ads.

So, my method isn't going to apply to everyone.

Especially for people running ads for clients or stores with super strict brand guidelines.

Okay back to the thread now 👇
So, bizarre.

What does that even mean?

Here's the definition: very strange or unusual, especially so as to cause interest.

Meaning, it should toe the line of click bait.

But obviously not all the way there because then your traffic would suck and wouldn't convert.
Here's an example:

Someone in my group was selling honey and needed some help improving their FB ads performance.

Here was their best performing creative at the time.
Not great if you ask me.

I did a little research and found out that people put honey on their hands for some health benefits.

Most people probably didn't know that, I know I didn't.

Which is why it fits perfectly into the bizarre category.
So, here's what I suggest he tested 👇

And what do you know, performance skyrocketed.

Went from struggling to sell their inventory to selling out within a day.

Just goes to show how big of an impact creatives can have on your performance.
Now, you're probably asking how can you replicate this for your product/service.

Here's how I like to start getting some ideas flowing:

Google things like:

-super weird *product*
-crazy *product*
-weird uses of *product*

Basically any adjective similar to those.
Check out some of the articles and images to help get some ideas.

Sometimes you'll get lucky and just find creatives worth testing in your image searches.

The other way I like to get some inspiration is going through Ad Spy.
Obviously, you can check out your competitors ads but usually they suck so its not much help.

So, what I like to do is search a bunch of popular affiliate offers.

And see what kinds of creatives they're using, the style, the angle, the type, etc.
So, you've got your new creatives now and it's time to start testing.

Remember, you'll probably get some ads disapproved.

Theses types of creatives will toe the policy line.

Make some adjustments and try again.

You won't know until you test'em.
Once you get the hang of it, you'll start to better understand where that line in the sand is for your creatives.

Because every test you do, you're learning about what works and what doesn't.

So, stay patient and keep testing.

If you're running any ads on FB it's important to understand the learning phase and what effects it.

So, in this thread I will tell you the 7 actions that can potentially reset it and put them back into the learning phase 👇

** Learning Phase Thread **
1. A change to your ad set optimization

2. You change the audience you are targeting

3. Having your ad set paused for more than 7 days

4. Adding in a new ad under your ad set

5. Editing your ad

The next actions are a little more complicated, let me explain.....
The first 5 actions are pretty straight forward in the sense that if you do those things the ad set's learning phase will reset.

However, for the last 2 actions they don't necessarily reset the learning phase.

It depends on how big of change or "Significant Edit" was made.

Something a lot of people selling through FB ads don't realize is that FB sends out surveys to people after they purchase from your store.

These are called Customer Feedback Surveys.

Here's how it can your ad performance 👇

** Customer Feedback Surveys Thread **
To ensure the customer has received their product, FB will wait a few weeks until sending the survey.

The survey will show up on the user's timeline and it inquiries about their purchase experience with your store.
Here are the different aspects that FB could ask about:

1. Product quality
2. Was the product received?
3. Customer service
4. Delivery speed
5. Other

Struggling to scale your ads?

For the majority of you, the issue is YOU.

Let me explain 👇

** Scaling Thread **
It's a tale as old as time.

You find your winning ad and fall in love.

And become complacent now that performance is solid.

Then the laziness kicks in until performance starts to drop slightly.

So, you try to make little edits to the ad in hopes of getting performance back.
A temporary fix at best.

Performance will continue to decline week over week until it takes a big'ole nose dive.

We've all been there. It sucks.

But it's easily avoidable.

You just can't become complacent once performance is good.

You have to continue testing new things.

Can't run FB ads on your own profile?

No problem.

Here's how you use a virtual browser to run ads safely on someone else's FB account.

** Thread **
In order for this to work, you need to have permission from someone to use their FB profile.

Whether that's a friend/family of yours or some random guy/gal you pay.

Because you'll need the login information to their FB profile.

Just a heads up.
A virtual browser is the best solution I've found for this.

A remote access tool like Splashtop is an alternative option but the user has to have their computer on if you want to access it.

FB accounts are a delicate thing these days.

You can't just launch your ads right away on a new ad account especially if you're running aff offers.

If you do, your account will probably go down.

Which is why warming up your accounts is essential.

** Account Warmup Thread **
If you try to launch a new offer on a fresh ad account with no spend history, 99% of the time it'll get disabled.

So, you gotta do a little prep work before you can launch your actual ads.

There's a bunch of warmup strategies out there, but here's what works for me👇
It's a super simple process.

First, launch a page likes campaign at $10/day with copy and a creative you know 100% will get approved.

Once the ad gets approved and spends a few bucks, you can move onto the next step.

Getting a lot of negative comments on your Facebook ads?

It's something that can have a big impact on your ad's performance.

Here are 3 options you have to deal with them 👇

** Moderate Comments Thread **
1. Best Case Scenario

You can make some tweaks on your ads to prevent the comments in the first place.

I'd imagine if you're running the ads you most likely know what's causing the negative comments.

So try pulling things back a little to make it less controversially.
2. Manually Moderate

Start with your top spending ads and work your way down.

1. Go to the ad
2. Click Edit
3. Click the button to the right of the 'View More Variations' button
4. Click 'Facebook Post with Comments'
