We received a lot of DM’s from people expressing concerns with not only the town hall, but the organization itself.

Of particular concern by the people who sent the DM’s was how the APA is funded and who exactly they’re advocating for...

When we saw them post this tweet, we figured that this was likely the end of it.

As it turns out it’s not.

Yesterday, we were able to have a conversation with their executive director.

He confirmed directly to us that the APA does in fact work with corporate sponsors not only for program delivery, but also has partnered with private ambulance companies to fund advertising.

Which creates another whole list of questions, not the least of which is why would their President tweet out a misleading statement from their corporate account, & why have they left it up after their ED confirmed that they do take corp sponsors?

Now in all fairness, their ED told us that they have not yet received the full funding promised to them by their corporate sponsors, so there’s that?

How can this org that has platformed Shandro and has appeared to take credit for a vaccination decision that was the result of advocacy by paramedics, Docs, families, politicians and more, claim to be advocating for EMS...

When they can’t even deliver their own message?

That’s $24,000 a year.

There are about 6,000 homeless in Alberta.

That ends homelessness in Alberta.

With $1.356 billion left over

There are about 70,000 Albertans reliant on AISH.

To top them up to the same level?

That’s just over $264 million a year.

We still have over a billion dollars left.

Without them, it would have eventually come out with UCP MLA’s posting pictures, displaying that same lack of judgement, but those two really got the ball rolling.

1 - We’ve taken another look at @PugetSoundPSR, who published the original internet post that we were DM’d yesterday from an individual who has proven to be quite reliable.

PSR appears to be a quite a far right leaning organization, and that forces some questions...

2 - First of all, how does a small, apparently independent organization out of BC get leaked info on an Alberta based radio host?

Secondly, why does PSR have a ready to go theory for RJ’s departure, particularly one so inflammatory?

2 - We forwarded our discovery to (among others) the Ethics Commissioner, hoping that the Office of the Ethics Commissioner would be able to do something to force some ethical behavior from @jkenney and his @Alberta_UCP.
