#ICGs are frequently used but largely underexplored. It examines all 27 ICGs since 1977, maps their participants, founders, purposes and variations and finds two trends: enlargement and #regionalisation.
Based on scholarship of multi-actor #mediation, inter-organisational relations (#IOR) and #informalgovernance, I investigate the specific functions of #ICGs in international conflict management using the International Contact Group on the #CentralAfricanRepublic(ICG-CAR). #ICGCAR
