Since the start of COVID, Asian Americans have increasingly become targets of racially-motivated attacks & racist rhetoric. All the while, they're disproportionately impacted by the pandemic, grappling with unemployment, high-risk health care work & economic instability. 2/4

In 2020 alone, @StopAAPIHate documented 2,808 racially-motivated hate incidents against Asian Americans across the country. 700 of those were in the San Francisco Bay Area. 3/4

We all deserve to feel safe and welcome. We must work together to end this violence — and the racism and xenophobia that precipitates it— and create space for our communities to heal. 4/4
