This thread could continue forever. This is a fraction of the specifically anti-Asian #racism and #misogyny leveled at migrant women in Germany or when German men go to purchase "sex" abroad. It's more than just words, it translates frequently into violence. #StopAsianHate

No, I don't know how to alter economies in women's home countries overnight, so poverty is eradicated. #Prostitution rarely offers a path out of poverty though (it's frequently intergenerational) and it can actively make it worse. Women deserve a path free of trauma and violence.

And for those who think these are online comments... the internet is mean, so what? These are men describing real encounters with real women. And if you ask #sexbuyers about "racial preferences" in studies you will get very similar answers which is disturbing but consistent.

#Colonialism at work here: Why do so many white Western men travel to countries like Thailand? Because of the infrastructure of easy fast access to vulnerable women established/expanded and never dismantled by Japanese, US, and other armies. #SexTourism is not charity, it's abuse

I don't understand why anyone opposed to exploitation lets themselves be swayed exclusively in the context of the #sextrade that this one industry that is clearly built on power imbalance and violence needs to stay to feed families essentially resigning to a hostage situation.

You can imagine a world without intimate partner violence, without rape, without child abuse, without child labor, without police violence (or just without law enforcement period), without prisons, without war, without climate disaster - but not without #prostitution & #porn.🤡
