I'm honored a lot of artists are following me.

But I'd like to point something out.

I come from an investor background. A lot of numbers, money, trading, crypto, etc.

Many here did.

Growing Wealth and accelerating industries is what I enjoy.

2/ So maybe as young artists looking for inspiration you may be turned off from my tweets.

Sales, money, profit, crypto, etc I can see how it can get dull.

Art has been a way for me to get involved investing/collecting while at the same time help grow this industry.

3/ I realize art is deep and meaningful and something I'm learning to connect with the deeper into this I go.

Fascinating really.

Just wanted to point this out because I think artists need the right role models/inspirations.

4/ And I may not be that for many who want more art talk, empowerment, inspiration.

Which is ok coz there's a ton of awesome artists and builders who can guide.

Cool thing is artists are becoming collectors/investors who are the best people to lead this!

5/ Anyway, I'm going to keep talking about investing, numbers, collecting, industry growth, tech, news and a sprinkle of art here and there coz that's how I roll.

So...you've been warned haha.

I definitely enjoy observing the passion driving this whole industry forward.

6/ Any artists/creators in the space who share stuff regularly please come forward so new artists in this space know who to follow. 🔥

And if you've ever felt pressured to make money in this space to succeed I'm sorry - hope my tweets aren't causing that!

7/ There totally is an open playing field to connect, create and experiment and the biggest measure of success is just being here, present imo.

Remember the crazy guy 10 years ago who told you about #Bitcoin?

I'm that guy telling you about the #NFT art market.

Try understand/experiment with it at the very least.

There's something special here.

Yes, there's going to be plenty cash grabs and long-term worthless NFTs disguised as art.

Like influencers.

But if this is the start of an era for digital art ownership, there are some 'BTC at $10.' opportunities here.

What makes me confident is that the NFT art market was born DURING crypto winter. (2018-2019)

It was cold and dead in most of crypto land but the NFT art market was growing at a stable pace.

E.g superrare graph. In my experience slow and steady growth eventually goes parabolic.

1/ 2018. People seriously started to collect Art NFTs.

I remember the sentiment in my groups changing from broader NFT topics to everyone but me being art obsessed.

I didn't get it due to the above question.

But decided to look deeper.

2/ I'm not a traditional art collector so I had 100 questions.

What makes art valuable?

There's millions of art work in the world but why is a Picasso or Banksy worth millions?

I watched a couple doco's and it started to click.

Are we moving too fast, if so, where's the top?

1/ I'm going to explore both view points. Obviously I love NFTs and my 3 years of experience may have me bias.

So...be critical with reading my stuff.

2/ NFTs as a piece of technology that can revolutionize digital ownership is most likely here to stay.

Spearheaded with a few stand out markets such as gaming, art, collectibles which are proving the use case.

BUT there are some heavy accelerators here we need to consider.

I've added $300k worth of Art/Collectibles to my portfolio in the last 7 days.

This is my strategy/rationale.

1/ Firstly, this is HIGH RISK.

I'm a Risk On investor who either hodls long or trades positions so plz don't FOMO.

DYOR x 10. My Twitter is just to share what I'm thinking/doing which comes with 3 yrs of experience.

2/ If we're REALLY seeing the birth of the whole collectible industry going digital, then the play, (as a pure investor/collector), is,

- Who's art do you like
- Who's art will be significant
- Which artist/creator will push the limits of their career.

Which phase of the project life cycle below are you entering at?

There are some STRONG parallels between traditional chart trading and NFT 'trading'.

2/ Negotiate.

One of the best things in this space is everything can be negotiated. Especially if you buy bulk.

beneficial for seller because you're helping them exit/liquidity/get eth.

You get a lower buy price. Gives you a risk buffer.

Generally there's 2 types of NFT investment categories.

Short term - Flipped while volume is high. Bought early, sold almost asap.

Long term - Held on to as the project matures.

We'll explore the latter. (At the tail end of below graph)

Mystic Axies were rolled by luck 3 years ago during the presale. No more will be released.

There's ~1,400 of them and the price has been steadily increasing from 0.6 ETH to 4.5 ETH today.

Reaching 10+ ETH at one stage.
