@freedomsbride 3) were Pantomimes! So, although we had to get up in front of people; we just had to act out the skits, while the narrator read each skit's dialogue! B4🖐, I was always terrified of getting up in front of people; but, our Adult Leaders made it Fun & Easy for us to do! We acted
@freedomsbride 4) out #Jesus ' Parables; which were re-written for the Clown Troupe, by one of the Campus Ministers there, & a former one, too. We actually went to churches all around the tiny college's town to do these skits! And, even the Adults enjoyed them! Some of my favorite characters
@freedomsbride 5) in these skits were "the Biker Trash group", who ended up being #TheGoodSamaritans , Williamina Yemina & her son, Frank & daughter, Wanda; who were farmers at their "Weiner Works Factory", which we had to create through our Acting it out... But, Wanda became the #ProdigalChild
@freedomsbride 6) mainly bc most of the clowns were college aged young ladies, who #LoveJesus ✝️😀✝️! I barely even noticed that I was Acting in front of entire church congregations; bc I was having So Much Fun doing it! It was a Non-profit group, which would use any $ that was donated for gas,
@freedomsbride 7) make-up & supplies we needed. The rest of the donations were given to #ChildrensCharities in our area of South-central #Wisconsin , at the end of each School year! My last 2 years, I joined the Board of Directors for "Foolish Wisdom Clown Troupe"; & I got to help decide which
@freedomsbride 8) #ChildrensCharity the donations went to! We only advertised about the Troupe through sending out letters to churches in the surrounding area around the college town. One of my 1st Teaching jobs was a 6 week long Summer School class, called "Fun w/ Theater"! And, I found out
@freedomsbride 9) that working/teaching kids was a whole lot easier bc I had been a part of that "Christian Clown Troupe"! I was amazed by how much easier it became, throughout my Teaching career, to teach kids! The gals who were regulars at the Campus Ministry Center became my best friends!✝️
