The pandemic is devastating the world economy—however, good news is US’s Biden stimulus of $1.9 trillion will not only help save US but also help the world. And vaccine rollout is critical.

But how much depends on how fast we all #COVID19 vaccinate.

2) but one major country will likely re-emerge by the end of 2021 back to 2019 GDP growth levels... because of the Biden’s $1.9 trillion stimulus... and if we keep up the pace of vaccinations.
3) Here is the huge impact of the Biden COVID stimulus. The worry is that Euro zone and Japan might fall behind.
4) more critically, the positive spillover effects of the Biden stimulus plan will boost many different countries long term, but America the most. This is a win-win.

New preprint on the California variant - 1.427/B.1.429 or 20C/L452R, now >50% of sequenced cases by Jan 29 2021, showed 18.6-24% higher transmissibility vs wild-type circulating strains—slower than #B117 or #P1. Bit lower CP antibody binding.🧵 #COVID19

Increased mortality for #B117—New study in 🇬🇧 finds 64% higher risk of mortality for #B117 versus previously circulating variants (95% confidence interval 1.32–2.04) in ~55,000 people who tested #COVID19 positive in community. Risks grew after >12 days. 🧵

The milk tested negative for antibodies before the mothers were vaccinated, and spiked afterward.”
