US Army reservist was so openly racist about killing Jewish, Black & disabled people, coworkers were afraid to report him. Arguably worse: His supervisor said he knew Hale-Cusanelli was a Nazi sympathizer & Holocaust denier but didn’t mention it b/c he wasn’t personally offended.

White supremacist Army reservist Capitol rioter didn’t hide his Nazi extremism. Hale-Cusanelli even tried to look like Hitler. But the cognitive dissonance is telling. Denies Holocaust yet wants all Jews killed. Holocaust denialism is just propaganda gaslighting genocide history.

Oh. Hale-Cusanelli aspired for “civil war,” prosecutors say, presumably also gleaned from social media posts & coworker interviews.

It’s insane it took a terror attack on the Capitol for the military to notice this racist Nazi-loving white supremacist might be a dangerous POS.

p.s. Having grown up in New Jersey, I'm not shocked to find Nazi sentiments among the white working class. I still remember the day a boy asked me where my horns were. He said he'd always been curious but never met a Jew before he could ask. I was glad to dispel the myth.
