Liban slept at 9pm last night, but could not sleep until an hour to hours later; this may have been failure to shut off the blue lights from his cellphone and computer; he fixed this by setting to them to shut off hours before his sleep time; he woke up feeling a bit tired.
To liban, work is workout; initially it is difficult, so you have to warm up before you exercise; even then if you have not been exercising for a while, you will face difficulties of sustaining exercise; in any case, everyone needs break from exercise to exercise again.
Liban feels discomfort when he is focusing to do assigned work; he notices it and continues the work; he no longer bows down to discomfort by quitting what he is doing; he marches forward with determination; this helps him build stamina to do even more work in the future .
Liban managed to listen to the humming sound( which is triggered desire to take deep breathing) , sat with upright spine and worked on chosen tasks; this is his preferred method of working because it allows him to relax while working, making work more tolerable if not enjoyable.
The method of work described above is contrasted with working while feeling discomfort & tension; the attending discomfort & tension will reward quitting work & doing something more enjoyable at the moment, e.g browsing the net. This is consistent with stress inoculation thesis.
People who use more of the eyes than ears may benefit from another method of fixing their eyes on a single point at a time while working on a project, one thing at a time. Liban does not know visually based substitute method for listening to the humming sound and its effects.
It appears to Liban that the humming sound listening activated observer self, a self that simply gathers information; because it focuses on a single point, it strengths focusing capacities of Liban and deepens tendencies to sustain focus on chosen or assigned tasks for long time
Liban sustained focus but did not take 17 minutes break to gain energy needed to work again productively. He will do now; he ate lunch and took a walk; it is beautiful outside here in twin cities areas.
Liban saw more evidence for this thesis: distraction on screen time is simply a way to deal with stressors such as boredom, tension, tiredness and so on; when your don’t screen time a lot, you face these stressors; Liban has used Tai chi and it worked; he shall focus chosen tasks
Liban did not do much work in the interim; taking breaks and doing tasks that he cannot remember; long time ago, he learned to take notes in order to write good paper. If he cannot remember what he did in the last two hours, how can he remember a day, month ago or a year ago.
Liban focused again on assigned tasks; gone are days his attention were claimed by others such as comedy shows, making him feel a little bit better; he does not need that anymore. His life does not need anymore pleasure, for pleasure to Liban is un-impeded natural activities.
This concludes the day ; Liban apparently made significant progress in the first hour, getting a lot of work done and then his attention was grabbed by comedy shows and he lacked capacity to quit and choose what to do and then do it ; he has not practiced these muscles.

Liban woke up at 2 AM well rested; he slept 9:30p; think about that for a moment; this is a man who woke up after 8.5 hours of sleep not fully rested; why? he simply limited his exposure to the blue light coming from his cell phone and computer; he ate well too.
Liban did not sleep 9p last night, wake up at 5a & browsed after he woke up rather than exercise; each of these mistakes has fine of $5, $15; as promised above, anyone who follows this writer and has a cash app is eligible to claim and get it right away; no one is claiming it.
8:28p, Liban is feeling well rested. He will work and report within every two hours.

Liban slept eight hours; when he woke up, he was still feeling tired and he had strong desire to continue to sleep. Liban does not understand why this is the case; is it because he did drink a lot of caffeine and less water yesterday? Is it because he did not exercise yesterday?
It appears within two hours update ended 45 minutes ago; this would entail giving away $5 to anyone who asks for it; Liban learned that he needed to stretch after he wake up and then exercise; that will help him wake up and start productive day.
Liban is presenting much abhorrence to focusing and getting work done; he also presented tiredness and unwillingness to get work done; he prefers to think about how in the world he is going to finish tasks before him. He decided now to focus one task at a time.

Liban woke up with small headache; he slept more than eight hours but he still feels tired; he hopes that his day is going to be a great day because he will focus and get work done by stilling his body, listening to the humming sound and writing what he learns and observes
Apparently, Liban did not update this accounts within two hours; if you request $5, this writer will send it; he promises; Liban learned that sleeping 8 hours is the best way to develop tendencies to still the body and by implication the mind.
Liban decided to complete his outstanding work by choosing a deadline and then getting done or failing to do so, pay fine. He will increase the fine if continues to fail to get the work done on time.

Liban has tried several times to focus on a task that he thought was important to him; most of these attempts have failed at least in the last three hours; his recurring distraction has something in common with substance users; they try to quit, but they often fail to do so.
One thing that comes to his mind is that distraction is effect not a cause; he must therefore address the cause of distraction; in this case, it is stress; he must face stress and manage it, to make it easy to focus and get some work done .
Another factor that can help him focus is to use commitment devices: to say that I will do that particular task before that particular time or I will lose this amount of money; that always works; he must also address why he is failing to use commitment devices.

Libin reported that the reason why he was not making journal entries was because he did not had any information or ideas to write about; obviously, if he closes his eyes and speaks usually he gets some ideas and information about improving the moment.
Do you know you can relax while working, Liban wrote? ; sit with upright back, deep belly breathing that takes about five seconds inhalation and five seconds exhalation. Figure out what to focus, Liban’s case humming sound, and keep working for 52 minutes and take 17 min break.
Liban noted times where he was not able to do the right thing; or times where he presented signs of fear cases where such fear was not warranted. 1448
