🚨BREAKING: In the final weeks of Trump’s term, @mattgaetz privately asked the White House for blanket pre-emptive pardons for himself and unidentified congressional allies for any crimes they may have committed.

Gaetz also publicly called for broad pardons from Trump to thwart what he falsely termed the “bloodlust” of @GOP political opponents. Some Trump associates now speculate that Gaetz’s request for a group #pardon was an attempt to camouflage his own potential criminal exposure.🧐
Before Gaetz's #pardon request, DOJ investigators were asking witnesses about Gaetz’s ties to a 17-yo girl whom they believe had sex with Gaetz & was PAID. The probe grew from a case DOJ began last summer against a Florida tax collector, now indicted for #SexTrafficking a minor.
People don't ask for a #pardon, unless they've committed CRIMES for which they need a #pardon.

Gaetz is now under investigation for multiple, alleged federal felonies, including #SexTrafficking of a minor.

And the @GOP continues to stand with this creep.

🚨BREAKING: Great news! @CDCgov says fully vaccinated people can:

▶️Visit vaccinated people indoors w/o masks/physical distancing
▶️Visit indoors w/low-risk unvaccinated people from a single household w/o masks/physical distancing
▶️NO quarantine/testing if exposed to #COVID19
BUT vaccinated people still must:

▶️ #WearAMask /physical distance near high-risk unvaccinated & unvaccinated w/high-risk household member
▶️Wear masks/physically distance when w/unvaccinated people from multiple households
▶️ Wear masks/physically distance in public
CDC says the risk of infection when going to the gym or restaurant is lower for the fully vaccinated, but people should still take precautions as the risk in these settings is higher and increases if more unvaccinated people are present.😷

🔥A federal probe into the overseas and business dealings of Rudy Giuliani has resumed after being stalled last year amid Giuliani’s prominent role helping Trump’s attempt to overturn the election.

Federal prosecutors in Manhattan pushed last year for a search warrant for records, including some of Giuliani’s communications, but officials in the Trump-era DOJ *refused* to sign off on the request.🤬

🚨BREAKING: @USDOT’s IG asked DOJ in December to CRIMINALLY investigate Elaine Chao’s alleged misuse of her office as transportation secretary to promote her family’s shipping business—run by her sister—that has extensive business ties with #China.

The IG said DOJ’s criminal & public integrity divisions *both* declined to pursue it, even after the IG found REPEATED examples of Chao using her staff & office to benefit her family & their business and revealed that staff members at the agency had raised ethics concerns.🤬
The IG probe came after Chao’s grifting for her family was exposed–including a trip to China she'd planned to take in 2017 w/her father & sister. The IG confirmed that planning for the trip–which was canceled–raised ethics concerns among other officials.👇🏼

On @BarackObama’s presidential trip to Manila April 22-29, 2014, 4 witnesses said Jackson got DRUNK and made inappropriate comments about a female medical subordinate.

HE WAS ON DUTY TO PROTECT THE PRESIDENT.🤬
Jackson began drinking in the Manila hotel lobby, then got into a car with a drink in his hand "to go out on the town." Another witness said he could smell alcohol on Jackson's breath later that evening.🙄
