1. On April 8th 1956 , several Palestinian terror groups managed to infiltrate from the #WestBank (then Jordanian territory) and #Gaza (then Egyptian territory) and carry out number of attacks against Israeli civilians and to sabotage Israeli civilian infrastructure.

Palestinian terrorists from #Gaza had attacked the railway bridge near Ashkelon , while another group attempted carry out an attack in Yad Mordechai but were neutralized.
The terrorists that attacked the railway bridge near Ashkelon had continued towards the city , attacking freshly built homes for new Yemeni Jews that just made alliyah while fleeing Yemen.

The terrorists fired towards the frightened people and threw a grenade towards the critically wounded Shudi Yad’ai (60) murdering her.

After the attack in Ashkelon , more terrorists had bombed another railway line a water tower and a water supply line on the #Gaza border.
Towards the afternoon , 2 Palestinian terrorists groups had simultaneously attacked moshav Shaffir and kibbutz Gal On near Kiryat Malachi and Kiryat Gat accordingly.
In Gal On the terrorists managed to cause damage to number of homes, burn the kibbutz cowshed and seriously wounded 2 women that were working in the cowshed.
In Shaffir the terrorists threw grenades inside the home of Roselrauch family , 1 of the grenades exploded in the children’s bedroom severely wounding the 8 year old son Ya’akov.
Later that same day 2 more attacks occurred near Gedera and Rehovot wounding 3 more additional civilians.
Towards the evening , Palestinian terrorists had attacked the sleeping quarters of “Mekorot” water supply service near Ktzi’ot , murdering Ariyeh Glick (42) and severely wounding 3 others.
Overall 2 Israeli civilians were murdered that day and 17 were wounded. Immense damage was done to Israeli civilian infrastructure, with water supply and rail service disrupted to most of southern #Israel
Following the attacks , then Israeli PM Ben Gurion delieverd a message to Egypt and Jordan that if the attacks will not stop , Israel will be forced to retaliate, prompting them to act against the Palestinian terrorists stopping the attacks for a short time.
2.On April 8th 1981 , Palestinian terrorists threw a grenade towards a “Shulchan David” banquet hall in #Jerusalem during a Jewish wedding that was ongoing there.
An Israeli-Arab server that was working in the event was murdered in the attack and 2 of the guests were wounded , including a 7 year old child.
3. On April 8th 1986 , Palestinian terrorists threw number of Molotov cocktails towards an Israeli civilian bus traveling from The ICC building to Neve Ya’akov near Shu’afat neighborhood in #Jerusalem
The attack occurred in the afternoon as the bus was packed with passengers that were returning home from central #Jerusalem.

17 civilians were hurt in the attack , including 1 in serious condition with serious burns to 80% of her body.
