‼️Attn: Shadow AG
Mr Dreyfus,
I am speechless reading at this article. In mining, I have been in charge of managing contracts with companies for fly in fly out camps, & I can tell you right now - the cost is no where remotely near $1.4B ..

(cont thread....)

@markdreyfusQCMP
Private ensuite room, security personnel (obviously more controlled in immigration setting but still ppl paid on staff) air conditioning, pool, internet access, gym, room cleaned daily & 3 meals a day (including hot breakfast and choice of 3 meat dishes for dinner) ... costs
$120 per man day .... that is paid directly to the people who own the camp so would include capital expenditure repayment as well.......

I can see, no possible way, this is incompetence, the cost difference is just so dramatic. This is corruption - we must take action pls
How can the public help the ALP to facilitate an investigation into this?
What can we do to assist make this happen please?

This gov attacking their disabled, unemployed, Ind. Ppl, withholding welfare that is needed, whilst throwing our money away with the other hand
Mr Dreyfus, there is no possible way, this could’ve cost $1.4 billion, even with 100% margin. We must make this right...pls let me know what we can do get an investigation commenced - I give you my word I will help rally support. Thank you
@markdreyfusQCMP @SenatorWong #auspol

Dear @MarkMcGowanMP ,
Youve done a great job protecting West Australian lives during pandemic, however there is an epidermic thats killing more ppl than a virus & we need your help....

Sir, why is the specific act of domestic violence not a crime in WA?
(Thread)
Physical abuse is a crime yes however non physical abuse is not ie:Financial, social, systems, emotional, legal abuse, gaslighting & coercive control.
There is more of a penalty for catching a fish that is too small - than there is destroying the life of another... why?
Your own government is telling the public face types of abuse are wrong and to speak out if they are victims. - but who exactly are victims supposed to speak out to @MarkMcGowanMP? Because without a law criminalising these things @WA_Police can’t do anything...

🖤💛❤️ Do you know who the Aboriginal man who features on Australia’s $2 coin is?

Gwoya Tjungurrayi 🖤💛❤️
1895 – 28/3/1965

A Walpiri-Anmatyerre man of the NT - how did Tjungurrayi be come so famous?

(Thread)
Tjungurrayi was born in the Tanami Desert in the NT, 200 km Nw of Alice Springs, in the region surrounding Coniston Station around 1895. His first name Gwoja means water. His last name reflects his skin name.
2/9
As pastoralism expanded in the region early 1900s, further into Tjungurrayi's ancestral country, tensions intensified during drought of 1920s, with increasing competition over water & food.
He survived the Coniston Massacre in the then Territory of Central Australia in 1928

Thread: Wholeheartedly agree @vanOnselenP
But we don’t need a royal commission, we all know what went wrong, we watched it unfold. Everyone l was telling gov this was wrong & hurting ppl, they failed to act.
It was arrogance, incompetence, over reliance of bureaucrats..
1/7
& a deep prejudice held against welfare recipients, with assumption ppl without money are below them; assuming ppl would rort system, assuming gov could bully ppl & no one would fight back - it’s EXACT same behaviour & cash grab by @ato_gov_au that @Richard_D_Boyle exposed 2/7
@Richard_D_Boyle & @4corners disclosure, stopped @ato_gov_au & saved lives + prevented suicides - but Richard now faces 162 yrs jail for doing so

@JaneCaro & @vanOnselenP are right, but how could ppl hold gov to account & prevented deaths without risking same as Richard? 3/7
