Huzoor began the sermon by reciting verses from the Holy #Quran which relate to the month of #Ramadan and the act of fasting, and he then....
... presented their #Urdu translation.

Huzoor said that merely being alive during this holy month, or merely going through it, or merely doing only Suhoor and Iftaar, are not enough, and neither are these the purposes of #Ramadan. Its significance, in terms of spirituality,...
... runs much deeper than that. Good and righteous deeds, especially prayers, are most accepted by Allah in this month, and Huzoor also cited a verse of the Holy #Quran which mentions of Allah being near His servants and Him hearing our prayers.

Huzoor then presented passages...
... from the writings of the Promised Messiah, Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (peace be upon him) of Qadian, in which he wrote that people complain of Allah having not heard their prayers as if He´s under a some sort of obligation to do so. He stated that prayer is not merely the....
... act of the utterance of mindless and thoughtless words, but, instead, it´s a spiritual state which one experiences when he stands fully aware of his Creator. The acceptance of prayer has a direct correlation with one performing good deeds as well and being a firm believer....
... whose faith stands unshaken even during bad phases and calamitous events and happenings. He stated that a sign of repentance being true, and of it being accepted by Allah, is that such a person is blessed by Allah that he now performs virtuous deeds after being reformed....
... and shuns evil. Allah then grants His Nearness to such a person that the latter then becomes totally devoted to Allah and the world around him begins to kind of disappear from his view, so to speak. Allah accepts the prayers of such a person in miraculous ways as a result....
... of his dedication and devotion to his Creator. Such people, sometimes, even see true dreams and visions from Allah.

The Promised Messiah stated that a person who dies spiritually blind in this world will also be raised as spiritually blind in the Hereafter. He stated that...
... a person who has blind faith in Islam merely because of being born to a Muslim family, and he doesn´t act on it in the true sense, his faith is of no use at all. ***Huzoor stated that this little passage is most relevant, given what the extremists are doing in #Pakistan....
... nowadays in the name of #Islam.***

Such people who entertain disappointment about the effect of prayers are ultimately, as a result of their disappointment, driven away from faith altogether as they then become deniers of Prophets in a sense and end up becoming Atheists.
#Islam in facts affords relief and hope for those who´re deeply lost in sin and evil, and the holy month of #Ramadan is the perfect opportunity to reform one´s self.

A person who loses hope as a result of his prayer not being heard needs to understand that Allah does reject a...
... person´s prayer if what he´s praying for is harmful for him, even if he doesn´t realise it at that time. Even a mother doesn´t fulfill absurd wishes of her beloved children. Yet, some people stubbornly pray that Allah should accept his prayer even if what he´s asking for...
... isn´t good for him. Also, there´re conditions relating to the acceptance of prayer, such as one´s own conduct and spiritual condition. Also, a person who prays for another person, it´s a must that the person who he´s praying for is deserving of the acceptance of the prayer.
A person who prays without having a good conduct to show isn´t praying but is, instead, testing Allah in a way. The Promised Messiah stated that Islam, in essence, is all about Taqwa (righteousness), and a person´s faith is nothing without it.

He stated that Allah´s Mercy is....
... of two kinds: one are the blessings of the physical needs, the other are the blessings which one receives through prayers through the spiritual connection developed by man with Allah.

Even performing good deeds isn´t possible without praying for them to Allah. One must pray.
Such people who say that there´s no use of crying and praying before Allah are wrong and don´t understand the depth of the concept of the relation between man and his Creator.

Huzoor said that we should use this #Ramadan to bring about a spiritual revolution in ourselves. He...
... said that a person who prays for others, Allah´s Angels pray for him, so that should, therefore, pray for others - not to forget are our Ahmadi brothers and sisters who´re face persecution in countries such as #Pakistan and #Algeria, or in any country of the world.

It is an incredibly emotional day for me, as the publication house which aims to publish my book has posted an author's introduction about me on their Instagram page.

For the first time in life, my photo and personal information about myself have been made public.
I call it emotional because I don't know how to react as comments pour in from beloved ones. I just don't know....

I can't even get myself to post the link here. I just can't, for things have been made public about myself which I've withheld from people since many years.
Now, I'll share the link with some of you in DMs, but please be aware that I may react very cold on your response. It is so because I just don't know how to handle the emotions.

So please pardon if I fail to react in a way desired.

Huzoor began the series of sermons on the four Righteous Caliph with the mention of Hadhrat Ali.

His mother had actually given him....
... the name Asad, after the name of her own father, but Hadhrat Abu Talib, the father of Hadhrat Ali, changed the newborn´s name to Ali after returning home. He was away from home for some period of time when the birth took place.

Mecca once went through a severe famine, and...
... Hadhrat Abu Talib´s family didn´t have great financial backgrounds. So to lighten his paternal uncle´s burden for the time being during the famine, the Holy Prophet Muhammad kind of adopted Hadhrat Ali and took him home with himself. Another brother of Hadhrat Ali was....

#Ahmadiyya #FridaySermon #21stAugust2020:

Today´s sermon was primarily about Hadhrat Zubair ibn al-Awam, one of the blessed 10 Companions who were given the glad tiding in their life itself by the Holy Prophet Muhammad of entering Paradise.

Hadhrat Zubair, some generations....
.... back, had the same forefather as the Holy Prophet (not 100% sure on this). He was also a nephew of Hadhrat Khadija I think, one of the noble wives of the Holy Prophet. He was married to Hadhrat Asma, a daughter of Hadhrat Abu Bakr, and the Holy Prophet was also married to...
... one of the daughters of Hadhrat Abu Bakr, thus establishing another relation between him and the Holy Prophet.

Hadhrat Zubair was either the fourth or fifth person to embrace Islam, at a very young age of 12. He was the first Muslim to withdraw a sword from the sheath for...

#Ahmadiyya #FridaySermon10thJuly2020:

Today´s sermon was entirely dedicated to the events that followed the Battle of the Trench, namely the punishment of the Jewish tribe named Banu Quraiza. They were a tribe which had a treaty signed with the Muslims, but they breached it...
... and aided the other tribes which fought the Muslims, such as Banu Nadheer.

When Hadhrat Ali arrived to ask them about their treachery, they behaved in a hostile manner and uttered obscenities and insults about the Holy Prophet and his wives and daughters. Seeing this,...
... Hadhrat Ali desired that the Holy Prophet shouldn´t end up hearing their hurtful insults and should instead leave the fight to the Companions. At this the Holy Prophet said, "Moses was their own Prophet and they said worse things to him than this."

During the siege, a....
