States will get vaccines from centre quota (50% of monthly vaccines produced) based on performance. Perform well on vaccination and get more quota. Perform badly and your quota decreases.

Plus SII n BB can sell 50% monthly quota to state govts or privately. So expect pvt hospital to provide vaccination at 500-1000 rupees a dose and upper middle class/rich go for it to avoid crowds and comfort.

Plus vaccine manufacturers provided financial credit to expand production. 3000 cr to SII and 1500 cr to BB. So they are indebted to centre n they can increase production a lot.

Dalals like Coupta have blabbered on centre doing centralized management. Now they cannot reverse positions if CMs like Uddhav or Kejri lament about lack of money to buy vaccines.

Plus centre has shown that they morally own free (or 250/dose) vaccines to 45 year plus citizens who form approx. 84% of deaths.

Given the shock of second wave, now more people will go for vaccination. If not immediately then in 30 days from 1st May when initial load settles. If u miss this chance, dont blame anyone else.
