Formal communications were regularly sent to States on trajectory of cases, need for adherence to Test-Track-Treat policy, COVID appropriate behavior, vaccination & other issues

Since September 2020, 14 meetings were held under the Chairmanship of Prime Minister @narendramodi to review #COVID19 situation in the country.

Health Min. @drharshvardhan has held 12 video conferences with States since September 2020.

Multi-Disciplinary High Level Central teams rushed to states spiking in cases
Since Sep'2020, 75 high level and multi-disciplinary teams were deployed to 22 States/UTs to review the current situation of #COVID19, assess reason/s for surge, review preparedness & response activities undertaken by the States & provide supportive supervision. The feedback was:
The State Authorities were apprised of the findings through formal communications as well as video conferences.

Appropriate actions at the level of Centre were also initiated.
