Set of Sanskrit Shlokas resembling serpent shape was written and composed by Shri adhi Shankara acharya by praying to Bhagavan Karthikeya at a place called tiruchendur in tamilnadu
- Shri Adi Sankara composed this hymn of 33 verses, in the peculiar Bhujanga metre, noted for its sinuous movement like that of a serpent.
