This #pressfreedomday I'm remembering not only the likes of YOU, @washpost, but how the "Cleveland Press" in #Cleveland #Ohio & other #newspapers harangued and falsified Sam Sheppard into a false conviction for his wife's death. Others died since the wrong person was arrested!
The United States seems to be full of criminals but we STILL deserve a better press than you have been. Again, you could have saved us from Trump & what the Republicans are doing NOW but instead you BS about #women and #police! You really should either improve or CLOSE DOWN.
I guess if you covered the Dr. Sam Sheppard case again you would cover ONLY the police mistakes, NOT the #newspapers who railroaded him into years in prison until a GOOD Supreme Court required he get a fair trial. That trial acquitted him. But the ACTUAL murderer killed others.
