~Radar unit detects it
~Missile unit fires a faster TAMIR interceptor.
Biggest adv: Iron dome is very precise.Hence lesser no. of interceptors r fired, saves money.

1 shld also tk into account the cost a country wld hv to bear coz of damage caused by rockets. 40,000 euros for a battery is cost effective.
+ it's known for it's precision.
