Reimer on second-dose appointments:
First people who can book will be people with serious medical conditions, including people on dialysis, with Down's syndrome, getting an organ transplant, getting chemo and living with HIV.
Full list to come.
Reimer: Trial data suggests second AZ dose has the best results 12 weeks after the first dose.
So MB is telling docs and pharmacists to book second AZ doses after 3 months.
Reimer: Not ready to open up vaccinations for teens aged 12-17 yet because that works out to another 100,000 people.
Still need to get through everyone 18 and up.
Reimer: AZ offered protection to Manitobans at a time when there wasn't enough mRNA vaccine.
Acknowledges it's been a bumpy ride for the AZ rollout.

Only holding off on AZ now because there is enough mRNA vaccine supply.
Reimer to AZ first-dosers: "You will not be left out of the second-dose rollout."
Won't wait longer than necessary to get it, she says.
Botha: Moderna trial with docs and pharmacies is going well.
Can't say yet when more Moderna will be sent to them.
No limitation to doing it, operationally.
Botha says as fast as docs and pharmacies are, supersites are even faster.
Reimer: No decisions yet. But soon.
Botha: Manitoba likely won't administer 20K doses a day until the three busiest weeks of the second-dose campaign.
