#BombayHighCourt to hear pleas pertaining to special masks for speech and hearing impaired people for easy recognition and uniform policy for collection of fines throughout the State for not wearing masks as per #COVID19 protocol.
The Court will also hear plea filed by Armin Wandrewala seeking directions to #MaharashtraGovernment and #BMC and #commissionerofpolice to proactively execute the laws against spitting in public and to stamp out the #COVID menace.
On the plea seeking special masks for specially abled persons, the Court noted that most concerns in the plea were addressed.
The Court directed the State to inform them what masks have been designed for the specially abled people and how the govt proposes to distribute them.
Court also asked the State to apprise them on the next date of hearing if their guidelines for handling waste masks have been issued to all collectors and municipal commissioners for implementing the same.
Matter is posted for hearing on May 19, 2021.
