#Breaking #VegetationFire #solo #vehicle #crash #OrangeCounty #CNF @CHPCapistrano @OCFADivision4 are responding to a vegetation fire that started after an off-road, vehicle crash

The location is deep in the #CNF & access for #OCFA & #CHP will be very difficult due to the terrain

#Update - This solo vehicle crash, that started the vegetation fire, is now being reported as an overturned Jeep with multiple injuries

#Update - For those unfamiliar with this terrain/location...to give you an idea someone with #4WD off-road experience during daylight hours & with decent road conditions, the average drive time up the mountain to Harding Truck Trail & Maple Springs Rd, takes at least an 1 hour

#Update - @CoronaFireDept is making access up the mountain trail from the east (Temescal Canyon & 15 Fwy)

▪️Patrol 14 is at the crash site, approx 11 miles up the mountain
▪️#OCFA B3 has est #MapleIC
▪️The Jeep has overturned & plummeted 300' over a steep cliff
▪️4 occupants are approx 150' over the cliff
▪️1 occupant was ejected & has sustained multiple traumatic injuries

#Update - @OCFA_PIO @ClevelandNF @CoronaFireDept have established unified command to better coordinate this extremely complex, dangerous & lengthy #technicalrescue operation

▪️#Firefighters report the vegetation fire has mostly burned itself out

#Update - Due to the remote location & terrain #MapleIC is having a difficult time communicating (poor radio & cell phone reception) with the rescuers at the crash scene

#Update - Per #MapleIC the crash scene is located in #RiversideCounty however this remains a mutual aid rescue operation
