With all the stuff that's going on with #COVID19 and the #Tokyo #Olympics, one simmering scandal seems to have gone largely unnoticed in the western media so far: Tokyo Metropolitan Government's plan to force schoolchildren to act as an audience for the games. Thread 1/4

In short, there will be no vaccination for children attending (Japan has only vaccinated 3% of the population so far BTW), and the plan is still to force parents to make kids attend by marking them as absent. The #Tokyo #Olympics could be the biggest superspreader event ever. 4/4
