Two years ago, whoever had heard of cyclones in Konkan-Mumbai? Now two years back to back.

Ghanta climate hasn't changed. We aren't even supposed to buy umbrellas till June first week.

Am I the only Konkan/Mumbaikar awake? Isn't getting a cyclone in May super weird?

We are supposed to swelter and cook till June. Not get super windy, rainy cyclones.

Normally you want cyclones, go Odisha/Bengal/etc.

No cyclones or noteworthy earthquakes etc for Bombay.

While I appreciate summer being cut short and absolutely adore storms, this is going to screw over a lot of people. :(

Haven't even told maid about cyclone yet. Her home in Konkan got destroyed in #CycloneNisarga last year. Couldn't rebuild for longest time because pandemic, sent money a couple of months ago for repairs.

Right in time for round two with #CycloneTauktae. She's going to FREAK OUT.

No cyclones for ages, then two cyclones in the middle of the pandemic. Climate change sure has a sense of jale par namak.
