2/ When 1st lockdown was announced there was a mas scramble to define keyworkers, set down guidence for remote learning etc.
No preparatory work had been done because they had intended on keeping schools open throughout but impact on transmission was too risky

3/ From April 2020 the message suddenly changed from schools as essential vectors of transmission to gain natural immunity in low risk groups, to "children don't transmit" "transmission in schools is low" "school gates..."

4/Transmission in schools vital to herd immunity strategy, herd immunity is abandoned, schools no longer transmission issue, get all the students back and do everything you can to ensure safety measures to cut transmission are as minimal as possible.

5/ GBD pro herd immunity types, talk of children gaining natural immunity, yet many of them are the most vocal in saying that transmission just doesn't occur in schools.

6/ Got to question why the "learning to live with it" crowd always argued that learning to live with it consisted of no measures in schools not even ventilation, that's not learning to live with it, thats carrying on regardless.
7/ Increasingly certain the whole "transmission isn't an issue in schools" was a cover for deliberately allowing infection to spread through schools as a covert herd immunity strategy.

8/ Looking at Sweden and Netherlands, its clear that those publicly denying transmission in schools and long covid kids, are advising behind closed doors that schools need to stay open to facilitate infection.

Now lies on radio that we are protected by measures he argued don't work and that we don't even have because of him and others.
