Dr Jaishri Patil submits to the Court that she wants to intervene in the matter.
She submits that it is on her complaint that the order was filed.

She submits that there was harassment by the Justice SS Shinde which she had complained to the Chief Justice.

#CBI #AnilDeshmukh
Justice Shinde: Sometimes we enter into dialogue with the lawyers. And if my words were harsh and hurt her, I am expressing regret.

The senior advocates praise the graciousness of Justice Shinde. They add that litigants are quick to misunderstand the statements of the judge.
Dr Patil submits that she was being humiliated and insult in open court.

Senior Advocates take exception to the manner in which Dr Patil is addressing the court.

Sr Adv Darius Khambata: This is not the way you speak to the Court.

#MaharashtraGovernment #CBI #AnilDeshmukh
Dr Patil (to Khambata): You were not insulted in the Court.

SG Mehta: This is the court’s magnanimity and one shouldn’t make such statements.

Dr Patil (To Mehta): I don’t want to learn anything from you. I am also a practising member of the Bar of more than 25 years.
Khambata: You are speaking to the solicitor general. This is not how you speak to him!

Dr Patil: I am addressing to the court.

Court (to Patil) Will you stop repeating yourself? The Court is trying to speak to you. Will you listen?

#BombayHighCourt #CBI
Justice Shinde: At the cost of repeating myself. I am expressing my regret if my words hurt her.

Dr Patil: I am obliged. I will withdraw my complaint made before the Chief Justice. I have great respect for our judiciary.

#BombayHighCourt #CBI
Sr Adv Rafique Dada points out that the statement made by CBI has to be extended. He tries to submit that Patil also be directed to file a formal application for impleading in the petition.

Court asks SG to extend his statement of protection to June 15, 2021.

#BombayHighCourt
SG Mehta: May I request for a date on June 10? I will extend the statement till June 11.

Court records the order that the statement is extended till June 11, 2021.

#BombayHighCourt #CBI
Court posts the hearing on June 10,2021. Lists former home minister Anil Deshmukh’s petition along with this petition.
