Collection of memes/ tweets produced about Matt Hancock.

A few are borderline sexist and almost all are crude, I found them funny anyway, you've been warned.

Before I start, some Tories are already saying that no Social Distancing rules were broken.
Lying is what they do!⬇️
Eat Out to Help Out is a general theme in many of the memes. Some are unambiguous about the point they're making.
A number point to Hancock's obvious hypocrisy
Many question Hancock's looks, suggesting that to have an affair, Gina must have other motivations or be otherwise affected.
Guidelines is a theme
As is Love Island
That his wife may have something to say is obvious, and who can object with a small shuffling back of Little Britain into acceptable, at least compared to Hancock.
Obvious but a chuckle
Where you've seen this before.
My runners up for best comment/meme
There is absolutely no rigorous or objective scoring process. I just like these, because they point at truths that everyone not in severe denial knows about this mafioso and corrupt Government.
My personal favourite award goes to @pearlylondon, who seems to summarise quite elegantly why Hancock is not fit for office.

And not for the theme of the day, but a host of other compelling reasons (see @GoodLawProject for why).
And on that subject, is someone at number 10 removing #Johnson's calendar appointment to fire #Hancock?

It's either that, or they just want us all to know that there is no line a Government Minister can cross to be fired.

So did the PM simply forget?⬇️

It should be headline news that the UK is again failing so seriously compared to our nearest neighbours.

Yet you don't know the UK is in trouble⬇️

Eh?
Is that true?
How can that be?

You'll probably want to check my source. The data are correct.

And comprehensively supressed.
For months you've been fed a sugary diet of jingoistic vaccine nonsense.

- Vaccines will save us
- Britain leads the world
- Our scientists made it
- We're giving it away
- The EU are stupidly behind because (Brexit)

Just as many half truths and outright lies as usual. Sorry.
On 28/3/20 (not 21), I wrote a thread on today - called "Back to New Normal".

Back then we barely understood tests, let alone variants or vaccines.

But I'm about 95% accurate, check it🔽
How?
Trust me, I'm not clever, I have no special insight.

Twitter says #MattHancock should face prison. Sadly
1. as a crown minister he's exempt from almost any charge
2. Only him?
Collective responsibility?
PM Approvals?

For Justice English law is 👎
We need Int'l Criminal Court, Crimes Against Humanity

But chant "Lock Them Up" for?
For anyone interested in this topic, the Hague grants no MP protections, but it's no certainty

Under CaH legislation it should be possible to put Cabinet members on trial for negligence causing unnecessary mass death

But (simplifying) Public Health Crimes are exempt from CaH
But there are other parts of ICC law that take precedence over any Public Health exceptions, the most obvious being the Rome Statute.

The argument would be that UKGov negligence constituted a serious attack on human dignity.

There are good examples:

1 in 3 developing world vaccines at "cost price"
"Oxford Astrazeneca"; British "Generosity"

Sounds like we did something good, right?

😢

TLDR: HMG was forced into climbing down from a boneheaded profit policy. "At cost" was the result AND the status quo before their blunder.
When this story first went round in May 2020, it was used as a warning about the dangers of variants.

😢 As a warning it failed

Why?
1. No one knew about variants
2. Few knew cost free vaccines had become policy from late 1990s

You're all experts on 1 now
What about 2. policy?
A statement:
"The only good thing the WTO ever did was to protect the profits of big pharma in Public Health"

Controversial? Actually no - except for "good". That was manufactured.

That spin is crucial to understand

@MaajidNawaz @lbc is speaking exceptionally dangerous pseudoscience nonsense on LBC today. He's picked up a barmy theory about community escape or some other nonsense suggesting that viruses can somehow self-select for the most dangerous strain as a result of vaccinating everyone
He's mixing concept of bacterial resistance with viral vaccination. The distinction between the two is a reason to turn off the radio since resistance in bacteria comes through treatment whereas resistance in viruses come from mutation due to lack of treatment (very simplified)
This man has a national platform. And yet he's turning out the sort of nonsense that you hear Steve Bannon in the US and all the other anti-vax deniers throwing out. under the cover of using the word May he compare two concepts where 1 is 99% certain and his other is 1%

This is now our irreality.

We've cancelled over 70 gold standard trade deals.

The replacements have been slightly worse to awful.

This 'new' one doesn't get ahead of the EU. It sinks us

Apparently #Brexit means sign awful deals, call them good, leavers won't notice.

Trumpism
Oh there are upsides?

What about being forced into the existing model so as to avoid downsides?

About time.
Now I know we have more scientists and medics of integrity. Poke your heads up for a moment and comment on the murderous negligent bastards in office who are so dangerously out of control,

And

Still making the same decisions which killed so many unnecessarily.
If...
you're coming at this afresh,
think the Government did right by us,
did as well as they could,
faced an unprecedented situation,

sadly none of those as true save the first one, and if so, this may help.

You might conclude that if as boasted by Johnson et al, we have become one of the best in the world at viral genetic analysis*, then someone would track down the genetics.

They have. We have. They point directly to Government negligence.
