This is how activist billionaires warp democracy, and the nepotism and corruption of the UK establishment makes us particularly vulnerable to this approach. Politics is all about narratives and persuasion and construction of hydra networks for one voice to speak from many mouths

Vote Leave, funded by many Tory donors who have been given control of swathes of education, twisted the Brexit debate so people ended up arguing over twisted truths and disinformation.
They've done exactly the same in a pandemic and they've gotten away with it.

@IndependentSage experts who are giving up a huge amount of personal time for free are attacked constantly for playing politics by those who are getting funding from political lobbying groups who aren't challenged.

What about children's rights? Claim those calling to remove measures to allow infection in children
Well children do have rights, international rights that say they shouldn't be willfully exposed to disease, and shouldn't have treatment withheld
