In Springfield #Missouri, Mercy Hospital now has 120 Covid patients; 5% fully vaccinated. Two COVID ICUs and Step Down Units. Almost everyone in the ICU on ventilators. Sadly, numbers will rise among the unvaccinated. The #DeltaVariant is 96% of new cases in Missouri.

It's also important to note that if you're admitted because of COVID then you're sick. Your oxygen saturation is less than 90%. One way, hospitals have kept occupancy manageable is by discharging patients with home oxygen canisters and pulse oximeters.
We're fortunate to live in a country with plentiful vaccines to prevent lung damage from COVID. Nearly all COVID deaths in the US now are among the unvaccinated.

This is really irresponsible. Over 125 adults & youth from a Galveston County #Texas church camp event have tested positive for COVID.

In #Arizona, 526 new COVID cases and 22 additional deaths were reported today... there are also 136 patients hospitalized in ICUs across the state because of COVID. Only 40% of the population is fully vaccinated. The pandemic is far from over. ktar.com/story/4540412/…

In Pagosa Springs #Colorado a Walmart had to be closed b/c of a growing outbreak - so far 10 employees have COVID, of which 6 are unvaccinated; 2 vaxxed; the last two are 🤷🏽. Many unvaccinated employees are awaiting test results. pagosasun.com/2021/07/01/cov…

Like many states across the US the honor system is being used to determine who should wear masks in the store: “masks are only required in certain places for people who are not fully vaccinated”
