Something happened in the Spring of 2020 (I do not have exact date). Putin ended their relationship. Putin stopped taking Trump's phone calls. This is odd, as Putin seemed to own Trump, and Trump had survived the Impeachment (first one). Why?

We may never know why. MY guess is, that it was Trump's assassination of the Iranian General Soleimani. Putin and Iran are close. Putin did not sanction that killing. But it might have been something else. Who knows. Point is, Putin ended it.
