Something to ponder about๐๐๐
WHO ARE YOU? ๐ค๐ค๐ค
During one of his travels, Kalidasa felt very thirsty and looked around for water. He saw a woman drawing water from a well.
He went up to her and asked her for water. She agreed to give him water, but asked him, โWho are you? Introduce yourself.โ
Now Kalidasa thought that an ordinary village woman was not worthy of knowing who Kalidasa was. So he said, โI am a traveller.โ
Lady replied, โIn this world there are only 2 travellers โ the Sun and the Moon. Both Rise and Set every day and keep travelling perpetually.โ
Then Kalidasa said, โAlright then, I am a guest.โ
The lady promptly replied, โIn this world there are only 2 guests โ Youth and Wealth โฆ both are temporary and hence can only be called as guests.โ
Intrigued Kalidasa said, โI am a Tolerant person (sahansheel vyakti).โ
The lady responded, โIn this world only 2 truly know the meaning of Tolerance โ Bhoomi (Earth) and Tree. How much ever you stamp the earth or throw stones at the tree (for the fruits), both continue to nurture us.โ
Now Kalidasa was completely perplexed.
He said, โFine. I am a stubborn person (hatavaadi).โ
The lady smiled and said, โThere are only 2 truly stubborn personalities โ our nails and our hair. We keep cutting them, but they continue to grow.โ
Kalidasa had been patient so far, got angry and said, โI am a foolโ.
Now the lady gave a wide smile and said, โThere are only 2 kinds of fools in this world โ a King who rules without having any capability or knowledge & a Minister who is a sycophant to such a King and lavishes praises on such a useless king.โ
Kalidasa realised that he had been outsmarted. He fell at the feet of the lady and when he touched her feet and then got up, whom did he see?
Maa Saraswati โ the Goddess of Learning and Wisdom. She said,
โKalidasa, you are a wise person. But only if you know yourself do you become a Manushya (human being). A person without any awareness of self has not reached the pinnacle of being a Human."
In September of 2005, on the first day of school, Martha Cothren, a History teacher at Robinson High School in Little Rock, USA, did something not to be forgotten.
On the first day of school, with the permission of the school superintendent, the principal and the building supervisor, she removed all of the desks in her classroom.
When the first period kids entered the room they discovered that there were no desks. 'Ms. Cothren, where are our desks?'
She replied, 'You can't have a desk until you tell me how you earn the right to sit at a desk.'

Some lovely thoughts for all you morning โ and ๐ต lovers ๐.
A young couple had neighbours who were senior citizens, the husband around 80 years old & the wife about 5 years younger.
The young couple were very fond of the elderly couple & made it a point to visit them & have coffee with them every Sunday.
They observed that the old man would always ask the old lady to make coffee & the old lady would bring the coffee bottle to her husband to be opened, every time.
1. The concept of Bharata as it was in the eons before and how it work - a broad idea. How various practices around the sub-continent worked on common thoughts, principles that guided the concept of Bharata.
2. That this Bharata was a land of Sciences, Maths in every which way. How we had developed Calculus, Algebra, Geometry, physics, chemistry, biology and all the way to Surgery.
3. Make the kids aware of the eminent men and women. 4. Bring them and give them exposition into the world of how our ancestors worked in unison with the environment, how all the creatures / animals were taken care of.
State of Siege: Temple Attack on Zee 5. Brilliantly made movie After a long time, saw a movie. To me, it recounted the horror tale of the terrorist attack on Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar. Absolutely gripping movie. @ZEE5India Kudos. Thanks @sssingh21 for the recommendation.
