Some lovely thoughts for all you morning β and π΅ lovers π.
A young couple had neighbours who were senior citizens, the husband around 80 years old & the wife about 5 years younger.
The young couple were very fond of the elderly couple & made it a point to visit them & have coffee with them every Sunday.
They observed that the old man would always ask the old lady to make coffee & the old lady would bring the coffee bottle to her husband to be opened, every time.
The thoughtful young man gifted the old man with a coffee maker & the lady a gadget, to easily open the bottle & showed them how to use it.
On their next visit, the old man again asked the old lady to make coffee & the lady once again brought the bottle for her husband to open!
The young couple was amazed! Had they forgotten about the coffee maker & the gadget?
When the opportunity arose, the young couple asked the older couple about this. Their reply:
The Man said, ''Oh yes! I can use the coffee maker & make the coffee myself even without the coffee maker, but I donβt, because I want her to feel I am dependent on her in my life.
She still has skills I have not learnt & she is very important for my survival & togetherness is the main ingredient of our marriage."
She said: "Oh! I can open the bottle myself, even without your gadget! But I get him to open it so he feels he is still stronger than I am & thus the man of our home.
He needs to feel that he remains useful to me as always, that I still depend on him; that togetherness is the main ingredient of any marriage.
We don't have many more years of life in us, & togetherness is of utmost importance!"
These lovely little gestures, small big things, thought for each other that make relationships precious & everlasting, life worth living!
Have an awesome day! Enjoy the advent of the monsoon! Remain Safe
And while at it, have a cup of Coffee, cherish it with someone whom you hold dear.

State of Siege: Temple Attack on Zee 5. Brilliantly made movie After a long time, saw a movie. To me, it recounted the horror tale of the terrorist attack on Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar. Absolutely gripping movie. @ZEE5India Kudos. Thanks @sssingh21 for the recommendation.
To jerks @moviesndtv it is a "unmitigated tedium" because @ndtv have sold their souls to Pakistan. And the review by @htTweets is worse than their toilet paper. @scroll_in - Buzz off. We don't need you.
#Thread on #NewIndia and the deviousness of the MSM in not reporting good developments.
We all know about how Railways went around converting all the toilet into bio-toilets. Not a very sexy topic but an important topic as how Railways contribute to #SwachhBharat
In the above photo, respected Dr Sekhar Krishnamurthy is standing before the train. He is from DRDO and what is he doing here. This is a perfect example of cross pollination of #competencies
His worked in the Defence Establishment to develop clean toilets for our forces at borders at thousands of Metres altitude. He also developed these toilets, now installed in all the trains π 2.59 lakhs total

It is said, those who forget history are condemned to repeat it. The Indians, who feel for the country, need to revisit the past, to understand from where India was and where she is today.
And in the bargain, how India lost in monetary terms over the decades. When we have had people whose first question was, "What's in it for me", we know India is at the loosing end. That's how India lost its moorings, its path and became wayward.

A Professor started his class on a very serious Topic. The moment he turned towards the blackboard, one of the students whistled. He turned, looked at the class and asked the Whistler's name. No one answered.
The Professor peacefully kept the Pen in his pocket saying: "Lecture ends here. I'll tell you a story to utilise the remaining time".
Everyone became interested.
"Yesterday night I tried hard to sleep, but it was miles away from my eyes, so I thought I'd better get petrol in my car, which will save my time next morning and might induce sleep.
