Since climate activists, politicians on all sides, and policy makers are more smooth brained than the apes, let me provide a clear solution to the #renewableenergy and #ClimateEmergency situation we face as a nation, and more widely as a planet.
Firstly, it is clear that oil, natural gas, and other fossil fuels damage the environment. This fact is known, and is widely agreed on all sides. Good.
However, a rapid 5-10 year transition to wind and solar alone is not an adequate solution to deal with these issues. They do not yield enough energy to meet the current and future needs of energy production the world's population needs.
One alternative that is worth looking into is nuclear energy as the main power grid. By placing the centers in arid regions and low population density locations, the damages caused by a reactor shutdown become much more marginal.
Moreover, by having local communities vote to have these facilities built in their region, and Alaskan style dividend (per say) could be given to those individuals for taking on and accepting the risk for living in a region such as this.
To provide additional energy using renewable sources, this is where wind and solar can come into play. Wind makes most sense where there is a lot of sunlight, and while states like NY, PA, ect are subsidizing the technology more than mid western states, they...
Don't get the benefits of nearly year round sunshine like California gets. For coastal cities and regions with large rivers traveling through their region, this is where hydro electric can come into play. For places like the mid west, wind power...
Given it is reinforced to sustain the damage of tornadoes is another option. Now another big issue is storing this electricity. Lithium ion batteries are not only destructive towards the environment, but collecting the resources used in them amounts to major human rights abuses.
An excellent alternative is graphene. It is a thin layer of carbon that is able to store electricity at a much faster rate and hold that power for a much longer period of time. It is the clear solution yet no one talks about this.
A few final points. One may be asking themselves, fine that's good and all, but what do we do with the excess carbon in the atmosphere. Well, planting trees, dealing with pollution in the ocean (so the algae can absorb it) is one option. Another is carbon recapture technologies.
These technologies could drive out carbon from the atmosphere, release the O2 back into the environment, and create a sustainable source of carbon needed to produce the graphene batteries and electricity storage mentioned before.
Ultimately, this won't happen because @GOP @DNC and most people are more concerns with political infighting, making money, and doing frivolous things like being on TikTok and drinking beer on Saturday. But, I do believe this to be the solution. Hopefully some people agree.
Retweet the thread if you think this is viable. Always open to discourse. There is a lot I don't know, and am always willing to learn. Enjoy the evening all.

#housing Homeowners better contact their services. Investors are pushing a new program called ALM. Basically, if you don't reach out to them, they will modify your loan. Better to call them than not have options later down the line. Just my 2 cents, do as you please...

I wish I had the reach on Twitter to let more people know about this. Everyone who bought a house in this market is about to be pissed when they get a letter in the mail saying their term was stretched out to 30 years (i.e 15 & 20 year mortgagees). Please be diligent #homeowner's
