Justice AM Khanwilkar: we have seen the report. it says FIR has not been uploaded on-site due to previous order.

Justice Khanwilkar: After FIR is registered, law should take its own course
SG: Report is filed in the court, and all accused have got the copy from court
Justice Khanwilkar: CBI has taken decision to register FIR now law has to take its course
SG: Let the report remain as it is. law is taking its course.
Sr Adv TR Subramonium: we dont have the copy of the report. let the accused at least have a copy
Justice Khanwilkar: ultimately the probe has to be by the CBI.
Justice Khanwilkar: they cannot proceed against you on the basis of the report. report is only an initial information on the basis of which FIR has been registered. ultimately the probe has to be done. report cannot be a basis to prosecute you.
Adv Amit Sharma: after registration of FIR, I have availed my legal remedies. submission which was made in the lower court was that the report cannot be given
SC: FIR registered under law will take its own course.
SC: We have received the report submitted by CBI. It is mentioned that after examining the relevant aspect the FIR has been registered. CBI has not uploaded the FIR and inviting order of court in this regard
SG: It will be uploaded during the day
SC: It will be done today
SC: Earlier order required that report by Justice DK Jain should not be made public. now that CBI has decided to proceed in the matter, further steps after registration of FIR shall flow as per law.
SC: no further direction required. needless to observe respondent can take recourse under any provision of the law
SC: after registration of FIR investigation agency must collect evidence on its own and not rely on the Justice DK Jain report. the report cannot be the basis to move against the accused. all contentions to both sides remain open
SC: as the report has been finally acted upon. we accept the request of ASG SV Raju that the committee headed by Justice DK Jain be wound up. we appreciate the efforts put in by the committee, including the chairman. The committee ceases to function.
#BombayHighCourt is hearing plea filed by Rashmi Shukla seeking quashing of the FIR registered by #MumbaiPolice against unknown persons for leaking information pertaining to police postings in the State.
ASG Anil Singh appearing for CBI submits two letters written by #CBI to the Mumbai Police seeking certain documents pertaining to Shukla for their investigation.
ASG submits that the documents which have been sought from the administration were not handed over.

Delhi High Court to hear petition seeking directions to Twitter to comply with Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021
