Sr Adv Ponda submitted of all the offences alleged, only two are non-bailable, rest are non-bailable.

He also argued that the notice under Section 41A of the CrPC was not served on accused.

Chief PP Aruna Pai submitted that a notice was in fact issued to the accused, however Ponda responded that it was a mere formality.

Court has directed the State to file a response to the petition. Matter is kept on Thursday at 2.30 pm for final hearing.
