Everyone has a different purpose of using social media platforms,

Entertainment, Networking, Personal Branding etc and it depends on our priorities.

Here are few words on Twitter Growth: a Thread 🧵

(RT if this helps)

#SocialMedia #WeekendThread
I only consume Twitter and LinkedIn (For Networking etc)

I also shared why I found Twitter better and dumped other social media apps:
Now let’s get back to the topic:

Everyone has a personal brand, believe it or not. But behaving/growing responsibly on Social Media is very critical.

So what are the important things you should know?
Algorithms

Twitter has good/weird algorithms, you need to understand your style.

That’s where the Analytics feature assists you, it will give you an in-depth analysis of your content and Twitter actions.

Learn to play with algorithms!
Authenticity

We all love when the content is backed by any data or insights,

People appreciate honesty and compassion, you can bluff about things but the Internet can easily validate credentials and activities.
Content

Hmm, most difficult task?

Many of us find it difficult on how to write, where to start?

Answer: Start writing your everyday thoughts, good if you can make them relatable to people.

Take inspiration from around and Just write, don’t overthink and reject yourself.
Consistency

The Internet rewards consistency, you need to shower the plant every day for growth similarly you need to show up every day if you’re in it for the long term.
Connection

When people interact with your content, they also interact with you.

Build meaningful connections, be kind to them and see how it nourishes you.
Engagement

Follow people with similar interests, someone you admire and start engaging with their content.

Share insightful replies, appreciate and print your opinion.

DMs are good for the network and connections building if you are good at it.
Value

You can easily sell two things on Internet, entertainment and value!

No harm with random content but do share things related to your niche and you will slowly build a community around.

Be highly passionate about adding values whenever you post, readers appreciate it.
Growth Hacks (Risky & Debatable)

• Shitposting: Depends on how you leverage this but helps you grow rapidly, but also impacts your image I’m neutral on this approach.
• Polarisation : Works extremely well on Social Media and Politics, you got to pick a heating topic and let people fight over it in the replies/Quote Tweets.

Eventually you’re getting engagement/impressions and that’s what Twitter Algorithms like.
Final Notes : Don’t feel bad if you don’t Tweet or have growing follower base. (Ignore FOMO)

If you wish you can treat Twitter as your journal, start writing without any expectations and the magic will happen!
And be extremely cautions when you follow someone on asocial Media:
Always remember, if you’re writing there’s someone who’s reading it.

Write for them, making mistakes is fine but learn from it.

Best wishes for your journey. :)

How to travel solo? ⛺️✈️

A Thread 🧵

Bonus : Feel happy to shoot your questions, RT if you find this insightful. 🙏
Why I prefer solo travelling?

• Recharges the mind/soul and helps in unlearning things/people.

• Helps in managing the burn out, reduces stress

• Improves Self-Confidence/Personality

• Avoids unnecessary debates with parents.

• Can give time to myself/self-pampering
It’s very important to move out of our comfort zone, experience new things in life.

So how do you start?

First of all create a spreadsheet and Install Google Sheets in your phone.

Make a journal of your travel plans and research data, this is a very important exercise!

I took a local train from New Delhi,

Saw an Uncle (Senior Citizen) using INDMoney, I asked if I can talk to him for few minutes.

He replied, Yes!

He said, this app is very easy to use and he is tracking PF, Mutual funds, stocks, FD and everything at one place.

Mini Thread 🧵
He got to know about INDMoney from his friend, and it replaced his investment diary. He’s also managing wife’s investments.

He’s using Groww, too, again the reason was easy user experience!

Uncle invest in Mutual Funds, applied for Zomato, Glenmark and Rolex IPO using Groww.
He shared how he used to do trading during a young age, we discussed the dot com crash, RPower IPO, the 2008 market and the recession period.

Despite having a Demat with ICICI Direct, he is using Groww just because it feels nice to use!
