Self-chilled. It’s a thing. There should be no tie whatsoever between my political activism and my family’s income. I’ve been self-employed since 1987. We’re going to talk about that today. Politics and money.
2) Self-chilled? That's when we become our own censor, on behalf of the censors, without them having to do a single thing. That's when we back away from a fight, due to the risks of that fight hitting home. Literally, hitting home.
3) Here's the triggering event. I'll share it, and then slow down into the real story, dating back to 2016. This past week I lost two clients, key clients, due to #ReleaseLES. I don't blame them, and I'll explain. They're just making the best cost/benefit assessment they can.
4) My clients and I are connected at LinkedIn, which is the business world's number 1 social media platform. We don't use Twitter much, and I had no idea how closely they follow me here at Twitter. They rightly do.
5) In each case, heartfelt, sincere apology was expressed. The power of the FBI is so vast that even the shadow of fear, of connection to someone boldly attacking the FBI, is over the line of comfortable business. I love and respect these souls. They're good people.
6) In our parting conversations, each expressed the following factor. #ReleaseLES is on the other side. They often agree with me about the issues at hand. They cannot assess whether they agree or disagree on this mission. It's just over the line.
7) What does "self-employed" mean? It means you get hired by others for work that is NOT full time. They contract with you, and may terminate at will. One way you might look at my career is as a permanent contractor. I'm a hired gun.
8) I have laughingly called myself, often, the most fired man in the world. I get fired a lot. What does fired mean? It means contract termination PRIOR to the end of the contract. I'm a very aggressive soul, often extremely judgmental and rigid about it.
9) That I claim the moral high ground should be obvious. And also obviously, clients do NOT like to be called out on their ethics as leaders. I confess, I have been wrong about this over the decades. I challenged clients ethically, and I was the wrong party. It has happened.
10) I have also been right. Bosses often attempt to manipulate their employees. And, if I'm the consultant on the case at the time, they expect me to go along with such manipulation. I never do. That's my line.
11) What that means in practice is this. I show up for a session. I know my client may well demand help in an immoral direction. Knowing that, I'm ready to be fired on the spot. My clients that stick with me expect nothing less. Or I get fired.
12) In 2016 something changed. I've been fired countless times as described above. Until 2016, I NEVER commented about politics in social media. Politics was an OFF topic issue. Rightly, I never spoke about it in public.
13) In 2016, I lost half my business. No one can lose that much business and have life be okay. You have to address it, one way or another. It's important to analyze why I lost so much business. The simple answer is just: Trump.
14) The more complex answer is social media. It touches everything. If my clients are connected to me on social media - they are - then every position I take on social media affects them. I learned that lesson in 2017 and 2018 and addressed it.
15) What we came to was an agreement that as long as I ONLY posted on Twitter about politics, they could allow me my political endeavor. Again, they often agreed with me politically, but feared for their tie to me in business.
16) But then came the FBI and #ReleaseLES. Mind, I'm NOT talking about that on LinkedIn. Only on Twitter. But that's enough. Surprisingly, my clients follow me on Twitter. I truly did not know.
17) So there you have it, as far as 2021 goes. Now let's turn to 2016. We can call it Trump Derangement Syndrome to be sure. If you publicly supported Trump you're a Nazi. You're a homophobe. You're a deplorable in the basket of deplorables.
18) If this, then that. If you supported Trump, you're a Nazi. If you supported Trump, you're against freedom. It was automatic and inexorable. It was absolute and unarguable. Logic simply suspended into its apposite. Illogic reigned.
19) I was not surprised by this as a phenomenon, itself. What stunned me, what shocked me was that friends, clients of years and years fell prey to this kind of thinking by way of non-thiniking. My own suffering, and that of my family was vast. Still, the learning was precious.
20) So, 2016 was terrible, and 2017 difficult in the extreme. But, by 2018 I had the basics of the answer and guess what, 2019 was a great year and 2020 my best year ever. The answer was...each and every client or prospect had to check out my Twitter first.
21) Integrating my politics and my business worked, perfectly. My favorite response was this: If he could help Trump get elected, maybe he can help me with my business objectives. Until last week, my business grew as a result of that integration.
22) So what happened last week? Why did I start loosing clients again? The answer is the power of the FBI. I started attacking them. And my clients, watching more than I realized they were, said that's a bridge too far. The FBI might show up at my door, or theirs.
23) Catastrophic risk can be measured. Follow the math:
10% Risk = .0000000001% Risk
You can help me. Does that equal one trillionth? If so, 10% risk = one trillionth% risk. That is catastrophic thinking.
24) The FBI will never show up at mine or my clients' doors. Not going to happen. Yet, my clients fear it may. That's the true power. The FBI wields power over the fears of my clients. So, if I challenge the FBI in pubic, my clients fear in private. That's power.
25) There is a simple answer. Business must occur in the bold light of day. I am a pro-Trump supporter. I have skills that generate positive ROI. If those two facts are acceptable, then you and I should speak.
27) As you've understood, I'm looking for two new clients. Two who wish to explode return from leadership efforts. Two who wish their business to be part of their patriotic endeavor.
28) The proposition is simple. I am able to explode your ROI. Whatever you’re putting in now, I can help you transform what you're getting back. I'm more than willing to show you how, first, at no cost or risk.
29) What I've realized is this. I must be able to cover my family's requirements at the same time I tackle our nation's needs. It can't be one or the other.
30) I believe it can be both and, as opposed to one or. All you need to do is ask yourself, who shares our values? And who might be open minded to explore transformational business coaching? Reach out. You'll be glad you did.
Thread ends at #30.

The so terribly sad, horrible answer is yes. Until now, I have refused to call him President Biden. I will NEVER call him 46. I hold onto that. But, I'm wrong about it. Biden is the 46th POTUS in spite of my denial.
2) Who remembers the phenomenal mini-series, or the book it was based upon, Shogun? There's an incredible scene between Toranaga and Blackthorne, where Toranaga states that there is no justification for rebellion. Unless it wins, Blackthorne qualifies.
3) Toranaga acquiesces. Yes. That would be the one exception. The theory I'm about to offer has only two facts. Here they are:
1) January 20 Trump turns over the keys to the White House.
2) In a recent video about Afghanistan Trump uses the phrase: "If I were the President."
You'll find it interesting that Phil had always guided me away from a vision of joining him in this business. I do mean always. Phil's stated dream was for me to become a preacher. He meant it, too. And in the end, he made 100% sure that I wouldn't.
2) So on that day in 1981, when Tim celebrated my sales skills and opened his arms to me, I was amazed. I'll never forget sitting there with him in their conference room what the purchase order was being composed. Let's talk about drinking for a minute.
3) Tim offered me coffee. I had never had so much as a single sip of coffee yet. Not Coca-Cola, nor Pepsi, nor even Mountain Dew. Caffeine was forbidden in our religion. And of course I had never tasted beer or wine, let alone any of the hard stuff. Obviously all forbidden.
The math just hit me. In the summers of 1980 & 1981, I only worked 6 weeks each, total of 12 weeks. This sums up to 11 weeks of no sale, and 1 week of 2 sales. And what sales they were!
2) Have you ever noticed how awesome the towing trucks are that tow out of service trucks? They're amazing machines, truly glorious. Just look at this incredible powerhouse!
3) I wish I remembered the name of the man who bought our first quarter page ad, and the name of his firm. It was a truck towing company, and it was based out of Northern Indiana. His purchase was an act of kindness, of respect as well, and a great decision.
Before we delve back into Don Tommaso's work, we have to grieve yet another attack on our right of free speech yesterday. Joe Flynn's Twitter account was suspended.
2) Joe and I spoke yesterday, and we were able to laugh about it. Twitter is actually, for all its might, a very heavy burden. I asked him, "What are you going to do with all your time, now?" He cracked up. But we almost wept for America and for the loss of 1A.
3) Twitter is a smaller place today with Joe's account gone. America is a smaller place today with yet another voice suppressed. Whenever this topic comes up, I always point to the direct and simple answer. Social media is today's commons, and we know how to manage a commons.
The FBI’s use of the category Law Enforcement Sensitive is the greatest threat to American freedom today. Don Tommaso’s report proves this in countless ways.
2) We started working on Don Tom's - Tom Speciale's - Key Findings yesterday, and will pick up again today, below. We have a tactical mission to discus first. I've decided to call for a new Minute Men mission, simply called #1AMinuteMen.
3) #1AMinuteMen hold tremendous strategic significance, but we're going to begin with a single tactical focus. It is the tactical focus that defines us, and that mission is the heart of simplicity. We will counter any and all 1A suppression and thereby protect domestic freedom.
2) My Don Tommaso - Tom Speciale - provides us the clarity that this is the most dangerous component of the FBI's current mission to upturn our Constitutional freedoms, targeting on 1A & 2A especially. We'll turn to his key findings in a moment.
3) But just how? How does withholding LES transform the FBI from our own greatest Law Enforcement institution into most terrible enemy our freedoms will ever face? I'll quote Don Tom below, but first I'll try to explain it myself in layman's terms again.
