I have it on good authority that @NateEMiller will be keeping track of the CFB Marble Game again this season. Rankings aren't really meaningful until week 5 or 6.

Refresher on the rules:

1. Every P5 (+ND & BYU) team starts with 200 marbles, every G5 team starts with 100
2. win at home/neutral field, take 20% of opponent's marbles; win on road, take 25%

Thus as of right now:

Every P5 team w/ a road W vs a P5 team has 250 marbles
Every P5 team w/ a home W vs a P5 team has 240
Every P5 team w/ a road W vs G5 team has 225
Every P5 team w/ home W vs G5 team has 210
Every P5 team w/ win vs FCS has 200

Every P5 team w/ home loss has 150
Every G5 team w/ road win vs P5 has 150
Every G5 team w/ home win vs P5 has 140
Every G5 team w/ road win vs G5 has 125

e.g., Iowa State now has 200 marbles, Iowa has 240. They are playing at ISU Saturday.

If ISU wins, they take 20% (48) of Iowa's marbles, and new count will be ISU 248, Iowa 192.
If Iowa wins they take 25% (50) of ISU's marbles, then ISU 150, Iowa 290.

Correction:
Every P5 team w/ home W vs G5 team has 220.

Also UCLA is an exception b/c they've played 2 games- beating G5 Hawaii at home to go to 220, then beating P5 LSU at home to go to 260 marbles.
