While indexes have come back from mini-dips many times, stage remains set for deeper drop in Sept

Cryptos vulnerable after Monday

Also think commodities may have topped or should top Monday

The safe havens that are already on the move (DXY, VIX) should continue
Bear view will be scratched if massive up Monday, but just doubt this will be the case

Especially likely to drop - after Monday 6 PM ET (at latest) into early Wednesday

Few TA charts

Both BTC & ETH made lower highs at the 61% Fib

Which is especially interesting because Virgo (Sun in) trading theme is failed highs, lower highs esp at 61% per my google sheet :)

Merc trine Jup should fling up but I'll be surprised at higher, then down after
Good one - SPX with DeMark pivots only 2014-current

Several key turns on these

With RSI and YR1 reached, decent drop should be underway

With astro think it goes further

Also, don't fight the Fed! (FOMC officials selling stocks widely reported)
VIX

My favorite confirming indicator, VIX is above 2 pivots, MP & QP

Usually pays to be defensive & then be buying back or taking off hedges as VIX drops under pivots again - has worked so many times

Astro

Instead of doing full planet rundown Pluto to Moon by tweet, just listing changes and/or areas and studies of interest. If people are interested in the full rundown feel free to comment, or maybe I can develop some other less time consuming & more understandable format.
Anyway, most of the slower moving planets don't change often

Pluto, Neptune, Uranus - same from last week
Saturn, Jupiter, NN & SN - same
Mars changes term Friday, so barely any difference
So straight to Sun & Ruler

Sun in Virgo, ruled by Mercury slowing in Libra-Venus, in aspect to both Jupiter & Pluto >

9/22 afternoon ET Sun in Libra, ruled by Venus in Scorpio, Venus in term of Mercury this week

Astro - thinking to do comprehensive 1x per month, or maybe 1x season, just focus on changes & short term, may include more data studies.
TA - instead of same index charts plus VIX, just a few selected charts of interest

Context for those who can follow my astro & pivot logic

Venus sqr Saturn is a heavy aspect, with Venus afflicted

Mars also weak in terms of Saturn, though seems to be doing better in Libra than Virgo (just for these terms)

That said what are asset classes doing?
QQQ above all pivots (referring to Y H Q M, not weekly or daily; last day below a monthly was June, jeesh)
SPY reclaimed MP today

SVXY above all this week
VXX below all (think inverse for VIX related)
VIX back under all pivots today
HYG above all

TLT weak today
GLD smashed
There is other breadth issues but so far considering the astro very much in play right now, just not bad technically especially USA tech & vol

I know, mostly crypto traders on the stream so apply similar logic against DXY & majors

BTC ETH ADA above all pivots

Bollinger bands

Interesting concept - 20MA, then 2 standard deviations away from it create the bands - you can also edit the MA

It does work - like all market indicators, nuance required for best results

If really interested read the book by the creator
Here's BTC with just the daily BBs

So how does this work?

Sometimes taking reversal trade on band is awesome, sometimes slaughtered

Context is key
Slope matters a lot
Divergence is what the pros look for

To explain...
Power move, up or down, is high & close outside the band with the band sloping strongly in direction of the trend - this usually (not always) means continuation

You have to review charts to get this concept but now I will mark arrows with this power move outside band
