According to Roland Marchal in this IV on @FRANCE24, General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan travelled to Cairo 10 days ago.

We now have a fairly clear picture of the events leading up to this coup in Sudan

Then on 17th October. Six days after fighting flared up in Ethiopia, General al-Burhan visited Cairo.
@FRANCE24 During this timeframe there was also talk of tanks being seen near the border with Ethiopia in Sudan.

#COP26 has incoming rain.... lots of it.

Yellow heavy rain warnings through Thursday.
And it's not finishing on Thursday, just perhaps getting a little lighter. Here's a 10 day forecast for the United Kingdom.

This is very very concerning. The United States @StateDept needs to use its influence with both the Sudanese and Egyptian military on this.

There is almost certainly a a link between this, the GERD, and the war in Northern Ethiopia. Image

This @reda_getachew interview is very revealing and not just from his body language, and his absurd & tautological claims.

What caught my eye are two specific remarks which confirm information I have heard from elsewhere.
@reda_getachew 1. Towards the beginning he discusses the air-strikes, and in doing so he suggests that the UN was warned by the Ethiopian Govt. about the coming air strikes.
@reda_getachew My unconfirmed report is this. UN had staff stationed in the Planet Hotel - the site of one of the first airstrikes on Monday. And my source told me that the building was also occupied by TPLF leadership.
