Many of us are skeptical about using insecticides and pesticides to get rid of ants. They don’t just affect the ecosystem but the environment and human health too.
1. Citrus fruits - You can save your orange and lemon peels and scatter them around your house. Specifically, focus on the areas of entry such as windows and other outlets in your home.
2. Diatomaceous Earth - Diatomaceous Earth is a kind of silica composed of fossilized remains of Aquatic organisms known as diatoms. It is not precisely poisonous, but insects avoid contact as it dries them out by drawing out the oil.
3. Cinnamon - Cinnamon is a good old remedy for almost every household concern ranging from upset stomach to insect infestation. This readily available kitchen spice will make sure that you never see another ant in your apartment ever again.
4. Vinegar - Vinegar is one of the most traditional home remedies for uncontrollable bug infestations, ranging from ants to cockroaches. Most insects have potent sensory taste buds on their feet, and white vinegar’s strong taste and odor keep them at bay!
5. Cornflour - Cornflour is yet another readily available ingredient in our homes. If you happen to stumble upon an ant colony, grab a handful of cornflour and spray it all over the ants. The slippery texture of cornflour will prevent the ants from spreading for some time.
6. Coffee grounds - Ants hate the feeling of coffee grounds on their feet. Coffee grounds are yet another brilliant and inexpensive way to address the severe ant infestation that might have gone out of control.
7. Cayenne Pepper or Black Pepper - Just as citrus and vinegar, ants hate the smell of cayenne peppers and black peppers. They contain a specific compound known as Capsaicin, which creates heat and acts as a deterrent for most insects.
8. Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus (OLE) - Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus (OLE) comes from Australian eucalyptus trees and comprises PMD, a bio-pesticides compound. Hence, it works as an excellent insect repellent.
9. Neem oil - Neem oil is extracted from the Neem trees that are native to India. They are one of the most effective natural insecticides and pesticides for eradicating the majority of bugs.
10. Chalk - Ants don’t like lines made up of chalk. As they communicate primarily through scents, the line of chalk tends to disrupt their scent trail. Therefore, create some lines using chalk on the areas where you want them to stop entering.
Pumpkins account for a considerable quantity of wastage each year. And in any case, thinking logically, we were not supposed to use pumpkins as lanterns.
As per @hubbubUK, the People of Britain purchases 24 million pumpkins each year, right around the corner of Halloween.
12.8 million are tossed away since many of us are unaware that pumpkin’s innards are nutritious and healthy. More than half of them are sliced and dumped!
The negotiations have been failed by the environmentalists and the world’s top climatic leaders. Still, the nations are not able to cut off the level of greenhouse gas emissions.
Despite the Paris agreement being set up in the COP, 2015, it did not function enough. Thus, #COP26 is the one that aims to revise the treaties and the agreements made so far.
The glaciers are melting, the ocean acidification and the bleaching of the coral reefs have reflected the severe impacts of the climate change-induced effects. #ActOnClimate#ActNow

Tropical Rainforest Biome refers to an ecosystem composed of vast, sprawling forests. It covers about 7% of the Earth’s surface and forms one of the most massive biomes. This biome is mainly composed of vegetation.
The Amazon Rainforest is currently the largest tropical rainforest biome in the world.
Mainly, there are three types of solar power plants or solar energy systems. Type-1 is a photovoltaic solar energy plant; type-2 is a solar thermal energy plant, and type-3 is a concentrating power plant. earthandhuman.org/types-of-solar…
A solar power plant provides the facility that converts sunlight either directly, like photovoltaics, or indirectly, like solar thermal plants, into electricity. It comes in a variety of designs, with each using discretely different techniques to harness the power of the sun.
There are many different types of solar power plants constructed in most parts of the world. It includes the photovoltaic solar energy plant, solar thermal energy plant, and concentrating power plant.
