#Story time⤵️. 🧵

The consequences of our actions. How u could make or break a person/situation & how u cud avoid the same.🧑‍🎓

A man🧍‍♂️ saw his primary school teacher👨‍🏫 at a wedding💒
He greeted him w/all respect & admiration.
He said :
"Do u remember me, Teacher?" 1/10
The teacher said: "No, introduce yourself."
The student said: "I was your student in the 3rd Grade, I am the one who stole the watch⌚️ of a child in the classroom. I will remind you but I am sure you remember the story." 2/10
One of the boys in my class had a beautiful watch, so I decided to steal it.
He came to you crying😭 that someone had stolen his watch.
You asked us to stand so as to search our pockets.
(source - Meta)
3/10
I realized that my action would be exposed in front of the Students & Teachers.
I will be called a thief, a liar and my character will be shattered forever.
You asked us to stand & face the wall & close our eyes completely.4/10
You went searching from pocket to pocket, and when you reached my pocket you pulled the watch⏱️ out of my pocket, and you continued until you searched the last student.
After you finished you asked us to open our eyes & to sit on our chairs. 5/10
I was afraid you will expose me in front of the students.
You showed the watch to the class, and gave it back to the boy, and you never mentioned the name of the one who stole the watch.
You never said a word to me, and you never mentioned the story to anyone. 6/10
Throughout my school🏫 life, none of the teachers nor the students talked about me stealing the watch.
I thought to myself you saved my dignity that day.
Do you remember me?
How can you not remember me, Teacher? 7/10
I was your student & I am sure you remember the story, that I stole the watch & you did not want to embarrass me. This story is unforgettable. 8/10
The teacher said: "I can't remember who stole the watch that day, because I searched the pockets of all of you while my eyes👀 were also closed." 9/10
Before you take any important decision in life, take a deep breath & think about the consequences of your action for 3 secs & then follow thru. Most times, you might take the right decision in life.🙏

A small #Story aka Incident whose morals have more importance during our present fast paced life. #Thread 🧵

A Monk🧘‍♂️ of the Ramakrishna Mission was being interviewed by a journalist from #NewYork🇺🇸. The journalist started interviewing the Monk🧘‍♂️ as planned earlier. 1/13
Journalist - "Sir, in ur last lecture, u told us about "Contact" & "Connection." It's really confusing. Can you explain?"

The Monk🧘‍♂️ smiled & apparently deviating from the question asked the journalist:
"Are u from #NewYork ?"
2/13. source - fb
Journalist: "Yeah..."

Monk🧘‍♂️: "Who are there at home🏡?"

The Journalist felt that the Monk was trying to avoid answering his question🤔 since this was a very personal & unwarranted question.. 3/13

A small #Story.🌞

U can see a newbie #trader & an #Investor in this. The simile is quite stark. #Investing #StockMarket 💹

An Airbus✈️ 380, on it's way across the Atlantic, flies consistently @ 800 km/hr @ 30,000 ft, when suddenly a Eurofighter w/Tempo Mach 2 appears. 1/6
Pilot🧑‍✈️of the fighter jet🛩️ slows down, flies alongside the Airbus & greets the pilot👨‍✈️ of the passenger plane by radio: "Airbus, boring flight isn’t it?

Now have a look here - he told!
2/6 Source- via fb
He rolls his jet on its back, accelerates, breaks through the sound barrier, rises rapidly to a dizzying height, then swoops down almost to sea level in a breathtaking dive. He loops back next to the Airbus and asks, "Well, how was that?" 3/6

A small #Story which is a fine example of presence of mind. 🧠
A Professor👨‍🏫 started his class on a very serious Topic. The moment he turned towards the blackboard, one of the students🧑‍🎓whistled. He turned, looked at the class & asked the Whistler's name. No one answered. 1/8
The Professor kept the Pen in his pocket saying: "Lecture ends here. I'll tell u a story to utilise the remaining time". 2/8 (story source-FB)
"Yday night I tried hard to sleep💤, but it was miles away from my eyes, so I thought I'd better get petrol in my car, which will save time nxt morning & might induce sleep. After having my tank full, I started roaming in that area, enjoying the peace of a traffic free ride. 3/8

The Hotel Clerk - Touching #Story

One stormy night many yrs ago, an elderly man & his wife entered the lobby of a small hotel in Philadelphia, USA. Trying to get out of the rain, the couple approached the front desk hoping to get some shelter for the night. 1/11 Story #Thread
“Could you possibly give us a room here?” – the husband asked.

The clerk, a friendly man with a winning smile, looked at the couple & explained that there were three conventions in town. “All of our rooms are taken,” the clerk said. 2/11
“But I can’t send a nice couple like you out into the rain at one o’clock in the morning. Would you perhaps be willing to sleep in my room? It’s not exactly a suite, but it will be good enough to make you folks comfortable for the night.” 3/11

Not sure how many of you remember there was a Detergent bar called #501 from the house of #TATAS.
It had a bright yellow packaging. #Thread #Investing #Finance (1/4)
It was A Tomco (Tata Oil Mills) brand those days. It was named 501 because Tomco chief Jal Naoroji, a nationalist, felt it could do one better than a soap called ‘500’ which existed abroad. The soap was also priced right for the masses at Rs.10/100cakes. 2/4
Later the levers brand wanted to kill the Indian brand & priced their brand below cost which was Rs.6/100 cakes. Jal naoroji didnt bother & waited but in just 3months, the lever company raised their price as they could no longer continue selling below cost. 3/4

Why I bought this Stock which was making so much negative news w/its vaccine ? #StockMarket #Investing

#AstraZeneca is ranked 12th in the world & has a market cap of 100.57B. They have a huge portfolio of drugs to treat diabetes, cancer & respiratory problems. 1/5 #ASTRAZEN
So I had the belief that few issues with covid vaccine might not work negatively for a company which had such high profile drugs in its kitty.
On 4th jan 2021, #ASTRAZEN made a high of 4910 & it slowly started retracing. 2/5
This was when #Covid vaccine was out after all trials & approvals. But in Europe & other places there were cases of unusual blood clots w/the vaccine & naturally the stock started falling. On 9th feb, stock was trading at 3745 & it caught my attention. Support identified 👇3/5 Image
