In 2013, as a graduation requirement, every student in my major had to do KKN. KKN stands for Kuliah Kerja Nyata, it is a program where students have to stay in a village or rural area for at least a month and do several programs there.
More or less like a social service. There were three people from my major, me, Lisa, and Sabilah. The rest were from other majors with a total of almost 20 people. The village which we had to go to was in Bogor, West Java.
The place was quite lovely, surrounded by forests, rice fields, and limestone mountains. The scenery was quite beautiful, especially for us who mostly lived in the city.
When we arrived, the girls lived in one of the villager’s houses and the boys in the village hall. The stories mostly happened in the house.
The house itself was pretty small, located near a fairly large rice field, therefore the distance to the nearest neighbor may be about 15-20 meters on the right. On the left, there was nothing, only rice fields and vacant land.
I can't go into too much detail because it happened a long time ago. What is clear is that when we got there, we immediately got together to plan our program and divide up the tasks.
On the first night, 7 people were sleeping in the bedroom, including me. The rest slept in the living / TV room.
I felt something quite odd in that room. For several days sleeping there, I always woke up and couldn't sleep well. It's tight. But not because of the many people sleeping there. But there was something else.
We all slept facing the door, because I slept next to Lisa which was right in front of the door, when I awoke sometimes I couldn't help but look at the door which was only covered by the cloth, and several times, I saw a black shadow going back and forth.
Sabilah who is quite sensitive said that one time when she was sleeping in that room, she had a dream like someone was asking her to go with them. But fortunately, Anna, who was sleeping next to her accidentally hit Sabilah's body with her hand and woke her up.
She suddenly sat up and said "Astaghfirullahaladzim." I, who wasn't sleeping at that time, asked her "what happened?" Sabilah replied, "I had a dream, felt so real, it was like someone wanted to take me away, I had wanted to go with him, luckily Anna hit me,
otherwise I could have been taken somewhere".

Hearing that, I was horrified but found it a little funny to see Anna still fast asleep, not in the least knowing that she might have helped Sabilah out from a very scary dream.
I only lasted a few days in that room. At one point I moved to the TV room. I was grateful that I slept much better here, and also because there were only four of us. But that doesn't mean I didn't experience anything strange here.
Only about two days I slept in the TV room, I had an incident. It was about 4:30 am, it was still very early. I suddenly woke up. We all slept facing the main door. I slept in the far right corner, in front of the always-locked room.
From this position, I could see directly towards the left corner. There was a big window. It was almost as wide as the wall. The curtains weren't tightly closed, so I could see outside.
Suddenly I saw a flash of a white shadow passing by, it looked like a woman because of her long hair. I was shocked but not too bothered by it considering the time and place. I tried not to care, then turned to face the wall, turned my back to the window, and went back to sleep.
