Tulsa Diocese announces prayer vigils for tomorrow in OKC and Stillwater.

“The Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board voted twice to recommend clemency for Jones. The final decision of whether or not to commute his death sentence is now in the hands of Governor Kevin Stitt.”
The wait continues in what must be an unimaginably grueling watch of time for the families of both Julius Jones and Paul Howell.
The Pardon and Parole Board recommended clemency for Julius Jones 16 days ago. We’re awaiting Governor Stitt’s decision- 31 hours until execution.
In midst of this, the clemency hearing is happening right now for Oklahoma death row inmate Bigler Stouffer.
6 executions set between now and March 10th.
Trial set February 28th abt. OK lethal injection method being “unconstitutionally torturous.”

Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board is holding the clemency hearing for death row inmate Bigler Stouffer right now. @DGoforth918 is watching.
Last 3 executions in Oklahoma have been botched.
A trial is set for February w/argument the protocol is “unconstitutionally torturous.”
MULTIPLE Pardon and Parole members now saying they have major concerns about the Oklahoma execution protocol. Several say they believe Stouffer is guilty but very concerned about process.

MULTIPLE PPB members talked about being extremely concerned about the way Oklahoma is putting inmates to death.

Update- Defense attorney Kevin Gough is once again trying to argue to keep more “black pastors” out of the courtroom gallery and from sitting with Ahmaud’s parents.
The state has rested, defense starts tomorrow.
In his arguments Gough says he’s checked into website (MORE) Image
And Gough says a large rally of pastors planned outside the courthouse Thursday is not in response to anything that happened in the courtroom.
To be clear, last week Gough said “we don’t want any black pastors coming in here.”
He then said this…..
After all that happened, with defense attorney Gough saying more “black pastors” should not to be allowed in courtroom gallery—Rev. Al Sharpton asked all clergy to come for a prayer gathering outside the courthouse on Thursday. @TheRevAl

So far they’ve asked for individual copies of the jury instructions.
As a reminder, the instructions are 36 pages.
